Always cite reliable sources

Information icon Hello, I'm Worldbruce. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, List of equipment of the Bangladesh Army, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. --Worldbruce (talk) 07:10, 8 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Of the six changes you made to quantities of weapon systems, only two are supported by the latest update of SIPRI (11 March 2024) or The Military Balance 2024. A total of 44 VT-5 tanks were delivered in 2022. And the two sources now agree on 18 T-300 MLRSs. I've updated the list accordingly. Any time you use a newer edition of a source, be sure to update the access date (for a website) or the year and other bibliographic information (for a book). Otherwise your edits will be difficult to distinguish from vandalism.
The other four changes you made fail verification:
  • BTR 80: SIPRI: 14 (1994) + 78 (2001, 2002) + 60 (2006) + 80 (2011) + 73 (2013) + 340 (2016, 2017) = 645; you: 1250
  • MaxxPro: SIPRI: 50; you: 81
  • WS-22: SIPRI: 18 (2014-2016) + 31 (2018, 2019) = 49; you: 74
  • Nora B-52: SIPRI: 18 (2013. 2015-2016) + 18 (2018) = 36; you: 54
