Conservative Democrat[edit]

Why did you delete mention of the SBC from the Carter entry in Conservative Democrat? The Jimmy Carter bio mentions that he cut his ties to the group in 2000. Do you know he wasn't associated with it during or before his presidency? ·:· Will Beback ·:· 19:19, 4 October 2008 (UTC)

My edit was to make the entry consistent with Carter's bio, as he is no longer a member of the SBC. If you can think of a more precise wording to reflect both his past and current affiliations, you're welcome to introduce your own edit. Desmond Ravenstone (talk) 19:26, 4 October 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for your reply. As a politician, Carter has had little impact since the end of his presidency. Though his departure from the SBC was reported, by 2000 he was no longer active in the political arena. The fact that decades after his presidency he resigned has little bearing on anything, IMO. I think we can fix it by simply changing the tense: ...and was a member of the SBC. ·:· Will Beback ·:· 19:53, 4 October 2008 (UTC)
That looks great. Thanks for fixing it. ·:· Will Beback ·:· 21:31, 4 October 2008 (UTC)

July 2014[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Gamaliel. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living person on Alice Walton, but that you didn’t support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Gamaliel (talk) 12:54, 23 July 2014 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Lamikorda[edit]

Ambox warning yellow.svg

The article Lamikorda has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:NBOOK and WP:GNG, no notable awards nor reliable independent source coverage that I could find

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Disambiguation link notification for February 19[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Kiitra language, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Digraph, Accent and Auxiliary language (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
