Information icon Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —specifically this edit to Mickey J. Meyer—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 09:17, 14 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings - you added a {{undisclosed paid}} tag to Muhsin Parari - just wondering what your information or reasoning was to add this tag? You also tagged the article for advertisin language which I did some cleanup. Dl2000 (talk) 15:17, 24 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ethnic-warring

[edit]

Hi there, this edit looks to me like a subtle form of ethnic-warring, where you seem to be attempting to assign ownership of the film to a specific ethnolinguistic film industry. If that's your aim, that is inappropriate behaviour. Sify indicates that the film is shot simultaneously in Kannada and Telugu, so that is the information that should be present in that film table. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 18:22, 22 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

February 2021

[edit]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, as you did at Prabhas, you may be blocked from editing. Stop POV pushing your personal agenda in articles. The sources prove that it is being shot in two languages. Better get consensus in the film article talk page itself. Fylindfotberserk (talk) 11:32, 23 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

DilliKaShehzaada: this edit, along with the others that preceded it, is disruptive. This is a community editing project, and as such, you need to communicate. When you are reverted, your recourse is to open a discussion on the article's talk page to seek consensus for the change you want to make. Wikipedia is heavily reliant on what reliable secondary sources say about a given subject. Editors' personal knowledge or understanding about a subject is irrelevant here, as that constitutes original research, which is against policy here. Yes, sometimes the Indian media reports conflicting information about how many languages a film is shot in, but A) we have no deadline, B) we are not here in search of ultimate Truth with a capital T, C) nobody is going to die if incorrect information exists for a while. If you have a concern about the accuracy of certain information, open a discussion. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 16:16, 24 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hello DilliKaShehzaada. As noted above, please seek consensus at Talk:Salaar before making any contentious changes to languages such as this edit. Thanks -- Ab207 (talk) 09:46, 23 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Valimai (soundtrack), you may be blocked from editing. Do not move the page without starting a move discussion on the talk page and at the same time do not try to push a POV in articles SP013 (talk) 23:47, 1 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Anirudh (composer), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Atlee. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:06, 7 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Introduction to contentious topics

[edit]

You have recently been editing India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, which has been designated a contentious topic. This standard message is designed as an introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially-designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
refrain from gaming the system.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.
