Talk Page and Peer Feedback

[edit]

I did not receive any feedback from the talk page of the "Christopher Columbus's journal" article or from my peers. I checked the talk pages for both my sandbox and the Wikipedia article and I have found no responses. I will revise my new content by taking a closer look at conciseness and grammar related issues that I may have included in my writing. I also know that I tend to write in run-on sentences, so I will try to breakdown and clean up sentences for easier reading. My plan for the rest of the changes to the Wikipedia article consist of including an image summary in the top right of the article, adding a few sentences in order to make the lead section more comprehensive, and cleaning up grammar and organization of awkwardly placed sentences in the Publication History section. I have not been able to find any reliable sources containing a summary of the contents of the journal, and I do not think I have enough time to put together a summary of the contents based off of a word-for-word translation of the journal. I am still searching for reliable sources that contain summaries of the journal, but I have had no luck so far. I may add a few images to the body of the article to improve its viewer quality and overall comprehensiveness to readers. I'm going to try and blue-link only relevant terms that relate to the sections of the Wikipedia article, and I'll be careful not too over-link my work.

Dante, I think you have done a great job on your edits so far. While most of your writing is concise, I feel like you can made a few grammatical changes. I do feel like you have done a great job with your citations. It seems like you have reliable and scholarly sources. My advice to you would be to fix the little errors such as getting rid of sentences and single phrases that do not need to be inclueded. I like that your work is easy to understand. Great job.
