Images and CC and GNU license[edit]

Freely means with no cost, but attribution is a must per copyright and the CC license. You must attribute (credit) the author/photographer.--Mark 17:52, 24 August 2013 (UTC) So what do I say for the "CC license"?[reply]

I have the copyright text which says "A copy of the license is included in the section entitled 'GNU Free Documentation License'."

I here do I just need to itemise each photo/image and detail the photographer?

Attribution is tricky. It depends on the license. Some licenses may only require a credit in the reference section or in notes, while others may require attribution on the image itself. It is probably best if you look at each individual image and the license requirements to keep liability at a minimum.--Mark 19:27, 24 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Mark.
