Bridget Hoffman article[edit]

Hi DragonZero,

I have updated Bridget Hoffman's article with lots of references, so it should be able to pass to B-class. Can you take a look? Thanks. -AngusWOOF (talk) 18:57, 19 December 2014 (UTC)

FAC nomination[edit]

Hi, about a year ago, you reviewed God of War III's FAC nomination (which unfortunately did not pass then). I've recently renominated the article if you wouldn't care to review again. --JDC808 18:12, 30 January 2015 (UTC)

Chi (Chobits)[edit]

I haven't got through with improving the article but excluding the "Kidnap", "The Person Just for Me", "Elda" and "In other media" sections (Which I haven't touched upon yet) is there anything you find to be too technical? - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 19:47, 2 February 2015 (UTC)

Except for the vagueness in the second sentence in the lead, it was understandable DragonZero (Talk · Contribs) 06:36, 3 February 2015 (UTC)

Articlehistory[edit]

Hi, DragonZero ... I've just noticed from Sleep hygiene that you close GARs and update the talk page, so I thought you might be interested in using Dr pda's script for determining oldid for use in the articlehistory. Have a look at my User:SandyGeorgia/monobook.js for the line that enables Dr pda's script ... it returns a history of all events used in articlehistory, and the oldid associated with them. By linking to the oldid, users down the road can easily access the version in the article milestones. [1] Regards, SandyGeorgia (Talk) 14:05, 27 April 2015 (UTC)

Thanks, I'll try it later. I have been avoiding oldid due to laziness overall. DragonZero (Talk · Contribs) 20:42, 27 April 2015 (UTC)
But it's one of the best things about articlehistory :) It provides a link in AH that allows one to easily access the version that passed whatever process, and evaluate subsequent edits! SandyGeorgia (Talk) 20:54, 27 April 2015 (UTC)

Editor of the Week[edit]

Editor of the week barnstar.svg Editor of the Week
Your ongoing efforts to improve the encyclopedia have not gone unnoticed: You have been selected as Editor of the Week for your long-term efforts to improve Wikipedia. Thank you for the great contributions! (courtesy of the Wikipedia Editor Retention Project)

User:Yash! submitted the following nomination for Editor of the Week:

I would love to nominate Editor DragonZero to be Editor of the Week for his amazing work in the area of Anime and Manga. I came across him at some discussion that I can't remember but I was very impressed by his arguments. Looking at what he has done, he has been here since 2008 and has over 24K edits. He has brought 8 articles to GA status, 3 to FL and has tirelessly made significant improvements to numerous articles. Out of the 24K edits, 15K have been in the article space and his top edits are the proof for all the hard work he has done. Despite being here for over 7 years (with a consistent and impressive edit count, he has not really been appreciated. It is unfortunate that an editor who works this hard, has received merely 3 barnstars. DragonZero has silently and sincerely been improving this website for several years. He has given a lot to the 'pedia so let's not make his efforts go unappreciated. An editor who elevates article content is the heart of an Wikipedian and those actions should be commended. This nomination was supported by User:RightCowLeftCoast.

1/2 Prince[edit]

Hey! Thanks for the message. I don't mind that you've been undoing my edits; I know they were probably WAY too detailed for Wikipedia. But I didn't think my last edit- where I spaced out all the character profiles- would be as much of a problem, because I had been focusing more on cleaning it up than filling it out. I didn't want to push my luck, so I specifically didn't add any new information or characters. I even checked that style page that you'd mentioned in one of your notes, but I couldn't find where I'd gone wrong, so did you edit it because of that? If I check that more closely and cut down on the adjectives, would it be alright to redo my edit? I know it has to be frustrating for newbies to rush in and make edits that don't follow all the rules, so I'd appreciate it if you could tell me what I'd done wrong last time. Thanks for being patient. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ItWasTheButlerAllAlong (talkcontribs) 02:48, 5 August 2015 (UTC)

Characters that aren't that notable are better left as mentioned as part of a group or part of a character. It is to increase accessibility and reduces fancruft. A simple example is a two sentence paragraph about Boy A's sister being mentioned in Boy A's prose. Aside from that, there were also some formatting concerns such as apostrophes to emphasis IGNs and Italics to emphasis fictional titles like Second Life. Hello there again[edit]

Hi. I'm not sure you'd remember me. I did some work on Tales games around the beginning of this year/end of last year. I've just finished work on a rewrite of Tales of Destiny 2, and have nominated it for GA. If it passes, and it should I think, that will mean all the Japan-exclusive mothership Tales titles will be GAs. By extension, this could mean that the most difficult ones are out the way. Oh, and a while back, I also found development information on Phantasia (the original SNES release, that is). I'm also planning to bring Vesperia up to GA within the next month, and I've still got Zestiria planned at some future point unless someone beats me to it. When that's done, eleven out of the fifteen released titles will be GA-status. I'm not intending to do them all, but I do have plans for some of them. I might even decide to have a go at Abyss since that seems like just a minor rescue job on the gameplay section. Just thought I'd let you know as I remember you being interested in the Tales series too. --ProtoDrake (talk) 21:46, 10 November 2015 (UTC)

Yeah, I know you, since you've been taking care of the Tales articles. It looks like you're aiming for GA topic which sounds great. I don't have any plans with the Tales articles right now, but I may try and get Xillia 2 to GA in the far future. DragonZero (Talk · Contribs) 02:58, 11 November 2015 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open![edit]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. List of theme songs in Tales series[edit]

Hi! Why you believe List of theme songs in Tales series don't meet notability guideline? A similar article even is a FL. --Easy-Normal-Hard (talk) 10:33, 20 December 2015 (UTC)

A collection of opening songs just doesn't achieve notability. Also note that FL criteria of 2008 is much lower than 2010s and up. I'm not going to enforce the notability aspect, but in the standards of the present, you need to change the article to something like Tales discography. EX (Case Closed discography) The article is pretty well structured though, which is surprising since those were your first edits on your Wikipedia account. Disambiguation link notification for January 7[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited The Irregular at Magic High School, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Traditionalism (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
