Hi, and thanks for fixing the names. My apologies to your uncle - it must be a misprint in an NTEC leaflet I was following.
Please expand this article as much as you can. I wrote it recently because I felt we were missing an important chapter in steam preservation history, but I could find very little of real biographic detail. I remember seeing your grandad at rallies, and once up at Gisburn, but I was only a youngster then. Andy Dingley (talk) 11:19, 12 April 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks very much - my mum is visiting me at the moment, and she's thrilled that someone has taken the time to write an article about my granddad. It has happened before where only the sons get mentioned. I wanted to add more to the article (a more specific death date (December 1990, just before Christmas - my mum can get the exact date), for example), but having been an editor here since 2006, I know that such things are better with references. It's just finding them that's the problem! I figured I could just about get away with amending the children bit without one. :P
- So thanks once again - my mum sends her thanks as she thoroughly enjoyed reading what you'd written, and it's incredibly well referenced to boot! :) Dreaded Walrus t c 11:58, 12 April 2011 (UTC)
Fanfiction in Fiction and Fictional category.
I am not yet sure or I don't know what Fanfiction is in Fiction and Fictional category. What's wrong with it? What to do? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.8.131.52 (talk) 22:04, 6 November 2011 (UTC)
RfC "Mega Drive" versus "Genesis"
Hi Dreaded Walrus, I saw you are the most recent editor to make significant contributions to the Google article, which is already at GA status. Given it's one of the most popular articles on Wikipedia, I'm hoping to persuade you to nominate it for FAC. I'd be happy to review it there or co-nominate it, but it wouldn't be right for me to nominate it given I haven't edited it at all. What do you think? Lemurbaby (talk) 02:01, 14 October 2013 (UTC)
" JRPGs often have cute (and even comic-relief type) characters or animals, juxtaposed (or clashing) with more mature themes and situations; and many modern JRPGs feature characters designed in the same style as those in anime" — Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.108.40.206 (talk) 10:47, 1 January 2015 (UTC)
