August 2014[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Dougweller. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Flood myth, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. You added material, eg a comparison with Adam, that was not in the cited sources but was added in such a way that it would appear to a reader that it was. I'm sure this wasn't deliberate but it still can't be done. Dougweller (talk) 11:02, 28 August 2014 (UTC)

Edit summaries[edit]

It helps other editors a lot if you use WP:Edit summaries. If you look at my reverts of two of your edits you will see why I reverted you. Thanks. Dougweller (talk) 11:03, 28 August 2014 (UTC)

Please read[edit]

WP:VERIFY, WP:RS and WP:NOR. We can't say something is similar, we need sources. Self-published blogs and webpages are rarely sources that we accept. Dougweller (talk) 12:42, 28 August 2014 (UTC)
