Stories tip

I've noticed that when you expanded Kulto, you've inputted some wrong information about the arc. I know this because I, too, have the complete collection of Pugad Baboy compilations. Here is the misinformation I corrected:

  • The arc never mentions that Brother Jonas has a resemblance to Ryota Miyagi of Slam Dunk (although he does).
  • It is Brother Jonas' group who moved somewhere else, not the UFO watchers.
  • Polgas was never asked about the recording and the prosthetic belly. Brother Jonas was even surprised when he heard the tape without even seeing Polgas. Polgas just unleashes both the tape recorder and the beer belly.

Next time, when typing future arcs, please check your info first and make sure it is correct before you post. - 上村七美 | talk 11:28, 13 January 2007 (UTC)

If you wish to contribute to the Pugad Baboy articles, do so responsibly. Do not remove the wikilinks I have included in this particular article - these are valid observations. Please append additional items you think relevant, but don't remove those items already there. Otherwise we'll have an edit war. -- • Kurt Guirnela •Talk 01:54, 13 May 2007 (UTC)

  • Well, didn't I add extra data myself yesterday? Please don't act as if just because you wrote it, nobody else can add. I also have PB5 myself. And for the record, I simply followed what the other author did in Kulto, by putting the other stuff under trivia. Edit war? Who started it just now? Not me. Eaglestorm 02:02, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
Well, it started because you removed my wikilink for the spoofs. Tit for tat. -- Oh, you didn't remove them after all - you just moved them... to the trivia section. I wish you'd just add your stuff and leave mine as it is. -- • Kurt Guirnela •Talk 02:15, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
Ok, fair nuff...but tell it also to Nanami Kamimura too. Eaglestorm 13:23, 13 May 2007 (UTC)

Warning

I have removed your warning. It was a mistake and I'm sorry about it. --Czac 16:46, 3 September 2007 (UTC)

That's cool. Let's just say I got too deeply involved with the edits. Not until I saw the five-digit figures did I realise how big the edit was, but WTH, AC5's ten-mile long plotline needed to go. As for the aircraft list that Daapdary mushed me over, well...didn't Miremare wipe out a similar list like that before (even in ACZ)? Eaglestorm 13:56, 4 September 2007 (UTC)

Question

[1] Why would this need a cite? Both are fighter pilots who racked up a lot of kills and then disappeared. Cheers,JetLover (Report a mistake) 21:52, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

Oh, also I have an Ace Combat Wiki. Maybe you could check it out: [2]. Cheers,JetLover (Report a mistake) 22:15, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
You made that? Fearless Son brought it to our attention in the AC Category talk page. Eaglestorm 02:11, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
Actually, the one Fearless son bought up was different. Cheers,JetLover (Report a mistake) 03:08, 18 September 2007 (UTC)

Re: V Second Generation

No, I have not read the book and am unaware of the release date. Hpfan9374 13:17, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

In that case, where did you learn about Mike's death? Eaglestorm 13:21, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

Re: MGS4 Plot

Cheers for the heads-up, I'll inform him on his Talk page to seek a consensus and if that fails I'll hit him with WP:3RR for overdoing the edits. I think he's gotten bored and given up though. Hyperspacey 18:59, 10 October 2007 (UTC)

Re: Front Mission Character Information

I'm not sure how much more I can trim it down without erasing some of the more vital details about the characters. Maybe we should consider creating a separate page for Front Mission character data.

Wiki

Hello, if you are interested, I have an Ace Combat Wiki [3]. Perhaps you'd like joining? Cheers,JetLover (Report a mistake) 02:15, 3 November 2007 (UTC)

I'll think it over (been busy with work lately), but thanks for the invite. Eaglestorm 02:17, 3 November 2007 (UTC)

San Andreas myths

I am writing to you concerning your edits to the myths section. I am not sure if you were the editor who had deleted the recently added content in this section. If so then please read this message, if not please ignore it and delete it.

If you were, I would like to know why you deleted the content. There are a lot of users who are unfamiliar with this topic and deserve to know that there is more than just one myth exsisting. A site was provided as proof and quite frankly I believe that it is a reliable one and that the info should be kept. So please, do not delete this content. —Preceding unsigned comment added by JayJ47 (talkcontribs) 07:37, 27 November 2007 (UTC)

virus

i think this version clocks in at one and a half hours. --AlexOvShaolin 03:39, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

Saw that one in mefreedia too. it really is meeh! Eaglestorm 03:49, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

hello, eaglestorm, i'm readding the archive.org link (as well as a fuller version of the film). archive.org download links are present on most public domain films that are on archive.org, furthermore archive is recognized as a library not a for-profit organization which would gain from spamming. --AlexOvShaolin 19:30, 18 December 2007 (UTC)

Just came around to watching the full cut last night on the link you provided. Damn, now this version is NOT MEEH...and i haven't even completed the first part! Eaglestorm (talk) 02:45, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for your concern regarding the gta s.a. article, but my edit was needed, so that this article could be taken seriously. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wwetruewwe (talkcontribs) 19:59, 14 December 2007 (UTC)

Your query about incivility

I've responded to your request for help on the WP:CIV talk page. Sunray (talk) 08:58, 15 December 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for your response. I've looked at the exchange between you and Myles325a on the James Bond talk page. Here are my thoughts. His initial post was rambling and unclear. It seemed unrelated to the article. You called him on this, quoting policy (WP:NOT). He then got pretty specific about what he was actually proposing, but also responded to your checking him up by making some pointed suggestions of a personal nature to you. You responded, not that you were hurt, but rather by calling him "hollier-than-thou" and projecting his taunt back to him (saying "how low can you go?").
Clearly he was close to the line of breaching WP:NPA with his comments. But your response was not a model of civility either. I think that the cooling off period may have worked well in this case (as there have been no further flare ups to date). In your message to me you said: "I might just let the guy huff and puff away." If, by that you mean "let it go," I think that would be a very wise strategy. If you would like some suggestions on how you might have avoided getting the kind of reaction you did from him, I will be happy to share that with you.
For now I will leave you with this thought: "Sometimes, a disagreement is a shortcut between two minds." Sunray (talk) 19:56, 16 December 2007 (UTC)

TARA2

What you mean by "PM'd"? I dunno why people are narrow minded, just because US version not have. --Aleenf1 06:19, 23 December 2007 (UTC)

i meant leave a private message (PM) on the user's talk page. Eaglestorm (talk) 06:28, 23 December 2007 (UTC)
OK, thanks, i will, for next time. --Aleenf1 06:37, 23 December 2007 (UTC)

Yeah the non stop rumours about PS3 games eventually going to the XBOX 360 really are getting quite annoying. Hopefully the exclusivity discussions will stop , then people can start discussing the improvement of the article. Frvernchanezzz (talk) 01:55, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

TARA 2

Eaglestorm, if you go to my talk page, you were the person who asked me to reply on the TARA2 talk page not on yours. Please stop deleting my messages and just view my response on the TARA2 talk page. Mervyn Wang (talk) 02:06, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

Thank you Eaglestorm for not pursuing the very trivial matter about the "Pan-asian". I don't mean to be defamatory in any sort of way, but next time when someone else makes an edit, please check whether that person may be right. Don't just hastily assume that he/she is wrong, everyone makes mistakes sometimes. "Stop pulling our legs" I would advise you to draw away from these sort of statements unless you are 100% sure that you are right. Probably you were distracted or maybe just not your normal self that day and I do forgive you. Happy new year and god bless, Mervyn Wang (talk) 09:53, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
