Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Eng10001, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Eng10001 is a test page.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Eng10001, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. jonny-mt 11:58, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

Your page[edit]

Hi Ec5226,

Welcome to Wikipedia. It seems you've misunderstood a little bit about the project, so I thought I would stop by and let you know a little bit about why your articles are getting tagged for deletion and moved around the project.

First, I should tell you that Wikipedia is not a webhost. While I appreciate that you are trying to use the project for educational purposes, we host articles, not syllabi. As such, I have userfied the page noted above; you can find it in User:Ec5226/New SD Course Help. Please take the content you need and find a proper hosting service for it, as it cannot stay here. I will give you about a week or so to do this, and I would be greatly appreciative if you would blank the page when you are finished to let me know.

Thank you for your time, and please don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have. --jonny-mt 12:09, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

  • Best thing is to create your own wiki - see comparison of wiki farms. No one tries to delete my wiki because it is in a proper place. And if you thought of coming back here in different style, articles on university courses are usually rejected. -- RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 12:54, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
