TUNA BEKLEVİC SHORT BIOGRAPHY
Tuna Bekleviç was born in Edirne in 1977. He graduated from İstanbul Bilgi University School of Economics. Immediately after graduation, Tuna has started to assume significant senior responsibilities in academia, NGOs and business life. Tuna served as the Chairman of Executive Board in Platform for Economists between 1999-2005, Society and Democracy Association between 2004-2006 and İstanbul Bilgi University Alumni Association between 2005-2006. Bekleviç was the founding leader of Güçlü Türkiye Partisi (Strong Turkey political party) in 2006 and since 2007, Bekleviç is the leader of International Forum for Democracy and Peace. Tuna Bekleviç served as the Advisor to Minister in Ministry for EU Relations; he is also a member of Culture City Foundation Executive Board and Platform for Global challenges Advisory and Executive Board. Currently Tuna Bekleviç serves as the Executive Chairman of International Forum for Democracy and Peace (IFDP) as well as serving as Chairman in Rhea Private Equity as Board Member. Having rather unique organizational exposure accompanied with energy and enthusiasm, Bekleviç focused mainly on economy political affairs, technology and leadership. Alongside his published articles in national journals, Bekleviç is also the author of “Kağızman Modeli’’ published by İstanbul Bilgi University in 2004 and ‘Hedef 2023’ published in 2006. Tuna Bekleviç was also a columnist in national daily newspaper ‘Türkiye’ between 2009 and 2012.
