Sock recreation
[edit]Faldi00, can you please confirm how you came to recreate the draft Ngada people as a near verbatem copy of the article previously added by a confirmed sock account? I had blocked you as a sock of this very prolific group before realizing your tenure here.-- Ponyobons mots 20:09, 20 February 2025 (UTC)
- Hi
- I just realized that the Ngada People article was created by a sock puppet account when you informed me about it. I created this article by translating the Indonesian version because it came into the translation recommendation, and also the topic was notable enough to be included into the Wikipedia English. Faldi00 (talk) 20:20, 20 February 2025 (UTC)
- The referencing style was so idiosyncratic that it looked like a WP:DUCK case. I jumped the gun on a block and apologize for that.-- Ponyobons mots 20:23, 20 February 2025 (UTC)

DYK for Madmuin Hasibuan
[edit]On 6 March 2025, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Madmuin Hasibuan, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Madmuin Hasibuan's father punished him for not fasting in Ramadan by not giving him food for three days? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Madmuin Hasibuan. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Madmuin Hasibuan), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
