License tagging for Image:Flow stillsmall.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Flow stillsmall.png. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 02:06, 4 September 2007 (UTC)

Your account with this username has been blocked indefinitely because the username may be rude or inflammatory, be unnecessarily long/confusing, be too similar to an existing user, contain the name of an organization or website, refer to a Wikipedia or Wikimedia Foundation process or namespace, or be otherwise inappropriate (see our blocking and username policies for more information).

You are encouraged to create a new account and contribute to Wikipedia under an appropriate username. Wikipedia:Username policy provides guidance on selecting your username. You may also edit Wikipedia without creating an account.

Due to Wikipedia's mechanism for enforcing name changes, your IP address may be temporarily blocked. Unless you have also been engaging in vandalism or impersonation of another user, we will remove that block as soon as possible.

  • If you want to keep the contributions from your old account for your new username, please follow these directions:
  1. Add {{unblock-un|your new username here}} below. This is possible because even when you are blocked, you can still edit your own talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked.
  3. You will have 24 hours after the unblock to file a request on Wikipedia:Changing username before you may be re-blocked. Note that this can only be done before you create the new one. For more information, please visit Wikipedia:Changing username. In many cases (especially if your account has few or no edits), it is much easier to create a new account.
  • If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below or emailing the administrator who blocked you.

Your request to be unblocked has been granted for the following reason(s):

Allowing username change to Fionabowieimages (talk · contribs). Please put this request in at Wikipedia:Changing username as soon as possible to avoid re-blocking.

Request handled by: Tyrenius 04:31, 10 September 2007 (UTC)

Your user name refers to a work place. This is not permitted. You can use your own name simply, if you wish. However, you should keep to one user name when editing the same material per WP:SOCK. You seem to have a name User:Sliphost005 already. Tyrenius 13:17, 4 September 2007 (UTC)

Unblocked[edit]

I have unblocked you so you can change your name. The reason is that FionaBowieStudio appears to be that of a work location. You can appeal against that if you wish. You can change your name by filing a request: this will maintain the record of contributions. Or you can simply start a new account from scratch. If you do this, please say so below, as this account will be redundant.
Please confirm that User:Sliphost005 is not a duplicate account. If it is, then you can use that instead and state you are no longer using this one. Please see WP:SOCK regarding more than one account.
Note also that you should not use the name Fiona Bowie, unless you are that person.

Fair use rationale for Image:Western_Front_Installation_of_Sliphost.jpg[edit]

Nuvola apps important.svg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Western_Front_Installation_of_Sliphost.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rettetast 17:56, 19 September 2007 (UTC)

Image:Sliphostvideostills.jpg[edit]

I have tagged Image:Sliphostvideostills.jpg as {{no rationale}}, because it does not provide a fair use rationale. If you believe the image to be acceptable for fair use according to Wikipedia policy, please provide a rationale explaining as much, in accordance with the fair use rationale guideline, on the image description page. Some examples can be found at Wikipedia:Use rationale examples. Please also consider using {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags/Non-free. Thank you. Rettetast (talk) 16:59, 19 July 2008 (UTC)

You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box.
