Dear "Frau Holle",
Thanks for all the work you are putting into Wikipedia!
Liebe "Frau Holle",
First of all, welcome here. I appreciate the edits that you have made, especially on the mathematics pages. Some of the regular users here have a canned message for welcoming new users with many pointers to useful pages, but I don't and you seem to be managing pretty well on your own. I will only point you to Wikipedia:WikiProject Mathematics, where you can discuss maths-related matters. You can also ask me questions on User talk:Jitse Niesen.
However, the reason that I am writing on your user talk page is that I have an issue with the title of Gauss-Newton algorithm, which you created. It is nothing personal, I am just trying to see if the article can be improved. I explained my problem on Talk:Gauss-Newton algorithm. I would appreciate it if you could clarify this matter to me.
Happy editing! Jitse Niesen 18:45, 18 Nov 2004 (UTC)
Hey Frau Holle, good to see you back at the English Wikipedia from time to time.
I have just several style remarks.
- The interlaguage links should go at the bottom; that's where most people expect them.
- One should write
== Trade term==
== Trade Term ==
that's per the Wikipedia:Manual of Style#Headings.
Lastly, it is good to provide an edit summary. For example, when you make a German link, one can write "+de". This makes it easier for other people having an article on the watchlist to see what is going on. Thanks and enjoy! Oleg Alexandrov 23:06, 28 May 2005 (UTC)

Your user name
Hello. Is it possible that your user name is a deliberate allusion to a fictional character in the film Gib Gas ich will Spaß, whom Nena (quasi-)immortalized in a song called Ganz oben?
- Wir fliegen schon wieder
- Egal wo wir landen
- Ich zeig dir das geht
- Weil auch Frau Holle die Wolken zählt
My family name is not an invention of Nena who just refered to a Gebrüder Grimm fairy tale. It was them who have made the honorable name of Holle notorious. -- Regards, Eleonore Holle.
Oh. OK, I'm convinced. I haven't actually seen that film; I've only seen three or four excerpts from it on youtube. One of them includes that song. Another is a classroom scene with dubbed conversation in English, followed later by the song Nur geträumt in German, and I actually suspected that maybe "Frau Holle" was the teacher in that scene.
