Disagree with move from Wycliffe Bible Translators to Wycliffe USA[edit]

Disclosure: I work for Wycliffe UK. I disagree with the move from Wycliffe Bible Translators to Wycliffe USA. Wycliffe USA is only one of a number of Wycliffe Organisations. Wycliffe Global Alliance is the umbrella organisation, so I think it would be more logical to redirect Wycliffe Bible Translators to that page.

Also, there is general stuff on the Wycliffe USA page that isn't specific to that particular organisation, so better fits on the Global Alliance page, but it may be that you have plans to tidy that up, but haven't got round to it. Paulmorriss (talk) 08:55, 19 April 2013 (UTC)

Sorry, I disagree with you...[edit]

Paul, since each Wycliffe organization is a separate organization with different history, leaders, membership requirements, expectations, unique finances, etc, doesn't it make sense that there would be a separate Wikipedia page for each one? The point I was trying to make in the change was that there is no one "Wycliffe Bible Translator" but rather there is Wycliffe Bible Translators USA, and Wycliffe Bible Translators UK, and Wycliffe Bible Translators Australia, and Wycliffe Bible Translators Japan and so on and so forth down the list. Please add the appropriate information for Wycliffe UK on a Wycliffe UK page. There is also Wycliffe Global Alliance, and I did make a separate unique page for them already. Feel free to edit the Wycliffe USA info, the Wycliffe Global Alliance info, and to help in adding pages for any of the other Wycliffe organizations. Fsbof (talk) 10:55, 24 April 2013

Why Wycliffe USA then?[edit]

Why redirect Wycliffe Bible Translators to just one Wycliffe organisation then? Why not redirect it to Wycliffe Global Alliance? (talk) 12:46, 23 May 2013 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for May 4[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
