Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Des Drummond (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver)
added a link pointing to Barrow
Kevin Ashcroft (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver)
added a link pointing to Leigh

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:19, 10 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A belated welcome!

[edit]
The welcome may be belated, but the cookies are still warm!

Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, Garyslater61! I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Though you seem to have been successful in finding your way around, you may still benefit from following some of the links below, which help editors get the most out of Wikipedia:

If you don't already know, you should sign your posts on talk pages by using four tildes (~~~~) to insert your username and the date.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Again, welcome! CommanderWaterford (talk) 07:07, 18 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

References

[edit]

Hi! Do you need some assistance in knowing how to use a reference? Because "RL Record Keepers' Club" is not a proper ref. If it is a website, there should be a link to the individual player's stats. If it is a magazine, then provide those details. If it is just a "club", it can't be used.

You can start by reading WP:REFB.

Not trying to discourage you. The info you are adding is great. Doctorhawkes (talk) 23:48, 21 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

"Rothmans Rugby League Yearbooks" is not valid either. Pls read WP:REFB. Doctorhawkes (talk) 11:18, 22 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

February 2022

[edit]

Information icon Hi Garyslater61! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you.
