December 2014[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Orphan Wiki. I wanted to let you know that I undid one of your recent contributions —the one you made with this edit to Neil Strauss— because it didn’t appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Orphan Wiki (talk) 21:50, 20 December 2014 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open![edit]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. For the Election committee, MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 14:01, 24 November 2015 (UTC)

My apologies[edit]

I Sincirely apologize. I had mostakenly reverted an edit you made on Group of 8, commenting that it was vandalism. The error I made was mistaking your edit as a act of vandalism that had been made earlier in the day, but which I had failed to notice had already been reverted. It was completely my own mistake. I quickly realized my error, and undid my reversion, but I wish to apologize for having made that mistake.

AIV report[edit]

Please note point three in the alert displayed at the top of AIV:

3. The warnings must have been given recently and the users must be active now, especially for unregistered users.

We do not take reports for IP addresses that are 5 days old at that noticeboard. If you'd like to have such an IP reviewed, I recommend making a report at WP:ANI. Coffee // have a ☕️ // beans // 22:11, 2 April 2017 (UTC)

Coffee // Coffee What are the guidelines for "recent?" How many days? Gerntrash (talk) 18:58, 3 April 2017 (UTC)
I don't think I have to define the word "now" for you. Coffee // have a ☕️ // beans // 18:59, 3 April 2017 (UTC)
Huh? It is a legitimate and sincere question. What is the official time frame? Gerntrash (talk) 19:02, 3 April 2017 (UTC)
I was a bit rushed earlier, apologies. I've put a good deal of thought into your concern and have made this change to the AIV header, which hopefully is clearer now. Please let me know if I need to address anything else. Thank you. Coffee // have a ☕️ // beans // 08:25, 4 April 2017 (UTC)
