Templates

[edit]

Great work creating all the new articles. I noticed you were creating articles with the {{notability}} tag. That tag is normally used when the notability of the subject is in doubt. I would guess that all the players on FK Budućnost Podgorica probably meet our notability criteria (see WP:ATH for the guideline), so it is probably not necessary to tag the articles with that tag. Sometimes the tag {{importance}} is used for people whose claim to notability is likely but not established, but in this case it seems safe to simply remove the notability tag entirely. (Quite a lot of detail, I know...) Let me know if you have any questions or concerns and keep up the fantastic work! --TeaDrinker (talk) 19:03, 2 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

alert about referencing

[edit]

Do not create articles without references. If you have the information to write the article, you got it from somewhere. Say where . Articles without references are likely to get deleted. I advise you to do this very quickly, before the articles do get deleted.

By the way, if when you create an article, you think it necessary to add a "notability" tag on an article questioning its notability, why create the article in the first place? Rather, add articles for people who are notable--see WP:BIO DGG (talk) 03:33, 3 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. A page you recently created may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for new pages, so it will shortly be removed (if it hasn't been already). Speedy deletion of Nemanja Džodžo

[edit]

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. As the article namespace is for encyclopedic content and not tests, the page you made will soon be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. April 2009

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page United Force Beograd has been reverted.

Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): \byoutube\.com (links: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ogdqjdovyia&feature=related, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ahgm0znlxra&feature=related). If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file. Video links are also strongly deprecated by our guidelines for external links, partly because they're useless to people with slow internet connections.

If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 00:59, 6 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Taurunum Boys

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Taurunum Boys requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable

Serbian footballers

[edit]

Hello. It looks like you have a series of similar errors in a number of articles you recently created about Serbian footballers. Each of these articles contains {{DEFAULTSORT:dr}}, but the correct format should be {{DEFAULTSORT:Lastname, Firstname}}, since this key is used to index the article in each of the categories to which it belongs. Second, each article contains [[Category:Serbia footballers]], but the correct category name is Category:Serbian footballers. Third, each article contains the link [[bs:dr]], which is an invalid interwiki link. The link should actually contain the title of the article about the same person in the other language, if one exists. It looks like you are copying-and-pasting from a template without modifying it as appropriate for each individual article. Please fix these errors and be a little more careful when creating future articles. Thank you. --R'n'B (call me Russ) 14:42, 15 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Knežević Zoran

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Knežević Zoran, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Fails WP:ATHLETE as he plays for a team from a not fully professionable league.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Unreferenced BLPs

Hello Golf414! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 12 of the articles that you created are Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons.
