Disambiguation link notification for January 19[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited National symbols of North Korea, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Foreign Languages Publishing House. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:37, 19 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

2021/9/9[edit]

Hello Gorden 2211 reviewer of p-Entropy Sept. 25,2021. I have edited / merged p-entropy into the Wikipedia page labeled Lp spaces, all went well until I attempted make some minor edits which caused ClueBot NG to rollback to the prior edition suggesting I was a vandal. p-entropy includes inline Wikipedia references for assorted authorities, subjects, theorems. Wikipedia: does not precede these page titles. You and other reviewers suggest an edit to Wikipediaa:Lp space which includes a rather extensive section on the p-norm as well as the animation of unit p-norm spheres over a range of p values. This spherical motion is a major feature of p-entropy. I don't have mathematics software which exports animations in Wikipedia format; Hence editing Lp space works well here. I assume ClueBot NG will vandalize my edits. Can you or some reviewer control ClueBot NG? Should inline references be reiterated? Help! RalphZero (talk) 21:32, 25 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I suggest going to Wikipedia:Teahouse because I can't control what the bot does. Or just use the report false positive option, since I've haven't dealt with math pages before so I don't know what triggers the filters. Gorden 2211 (talk) 00:27, 26 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, I've added some more history and references. Lasersharp (talk) 11:21, 16 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

KN-23 sources[edit]

The sources you put in the KN-23 page (http://www.b14643.de/Spacerockets/Specials/Pukguksong_GLBM-2/index.htm http://www.b14643.de/Spacerockets/Specials/Pukguksong_GLBM-3/index.htm) are problematic. They look to be original research from a non-reputable website (which has trouble with grammar in English). While they look informative they make claims and assertions not supported by any other material. I don't think information from them which could contradict or not be found in better sources should be included in the page. America789 (talk) 00:28, 4 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not so concerned about it, he has been quoted in other websites: https://defense-update.com/20171201_hs15.html
Anyways, the KN-23 missile is clearly bigger than the Iskander and it's not that contentious; he just goes a step beyond others by saying that the motors are not based off the Iskander.
In a close study of the photographs, he makes a fairly compelling case for the missiles. Gorden 2211 (talk) 00:48, 4 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

My question is why didn't you approve this Wikipedia Page?[edit]

Dear Sir,

I am Anshuman Tiwari Indian Musical artist from Dehradun Uttarakhand. My question is why didn't you approve this Wikipedia Page? The sources of the book are also included in this Wikipedia Page. All reliable sources are included in this Wikipedia Page.

I have also seen many such pages in Wikipedia, there is no source on them. Even then that page is published on Wikipedia.

I don't understand why you do this. When will you publish my page?

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Anshuman_Tiwari_(musician) Officialanshumantiwari (talk) 09:53, 4 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please see WP:OSE.
Also, when I reviewed it, there was only one source. Even now, the sources are inappropriate for a biography. Gorden 2211 (talk) 11:02, 4 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Tulagino Draft[edit]

Hello Gorden 2211. I saw the comment you made in my recent page Draft:Tulagino. I would love to have more sources from the corresponding article in Russian, however, many of them do not exist anymore, since the links go to 404 error pages. I would as well love to credit the wikipedia article in Russian, I just don't exactly know how. I don't think I am meant to use a direct citation, and I don't know my way around wikipedia, so any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Apexelite3303 (talkcontribs) 13:05, 9 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Alright, so see if there are any saved versions on archive.org; also look up the page on copying with within Wikipedia

DYK for 1977 Yili fire[edit]

On 28 November 2021, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article 1977 Yili fire, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the 1977 Yili fire, the deadliest since the founding of the People's Republic of China, was caused by a special jumping firecracker? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/1977 Yili fire. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, 1977 Yili fire), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

WP:AFC Helper News[edit]

Hello! I wanted to drop a quick note for all of our AFC participants; nothing huge and fancy like a newsletter, but a few points of interest.

  • AFCH will now show live previews of the comment to be left on a decline.
  • The template {{db-afc-move}} has been created - this template is similar to {{db-move}} when there is a redirect in the way of an acceptance, but specifically tells the patrolling admin to let you (the draft reviewer) take care of the actual move.

Short and sweet, but there's always more to discuss at WT:AFC. Stop on by, maybe review a draft on the way? Whether you're one of our top reviewers, or haven't reviewed in a while, I want to thank you for helping out in the past and in the future. Cheers, Primefac, via MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 16:00, 16 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
