Copying text directly from a source is a copyright violation. Unfortunately, for copyright reasons, the content had to be removed. John Prendergast[edit]

John Prendergast is a disambiguation page. As I mentioned in my edit summary (click "history" at the article to see edit summaries), MOS:DABENTRY specifies that each disambiguation entry should contain exactly one link, and (with certain rare exceptions that do not apply in this case) the link should be blue—that is, the link should be to an existing article.

Your edit has a couple of problems:

It has two links, and the important link is red.
The article at the blue link (Independent Commission Against Corruption (Hong Kong)) does not contain "Prendergast".
Article titles do not include "Sir".

Finally, edit warring is prohibited. If the change is really wanted, despite the problems above, the issue needs to be discussed at the talk page (Talk:John Prendergast). Johnuniq (talk) 10:22, 20 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to The Beatles: Get Back, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you. I contemplated giving you a level three warning, which informs you that if you continue removing content you could lose your editing privileges. You removed information referenced to a New York Times article about the documentary series with the bizarre edit summary "not about the movie". You clearly did not read the NY Times article, or you didn't understand it. If it's not about Peter Jackson's documentary series, then what is it about??? You removed that content three times ([1], [2], [3]) without discussion on the talk page. That is slow-motion edit warring, which is an even worse policy violation than inappropriately removing legitimate content. So consider this a level 2.5 warning.
