Hello is this allowed? I know that there was a conversation to delete the 2020 article and at the end it was agreed to redirect all of those articles to the main one. But i dont know the rule but i for sure know you do so I am just asking. SantiagoEdits (talk) 03:34, 25 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @SantiagoEdits: thanks for checking in! I noticed this created a month or so ago and left it. I think it may be an example of the exception I mentioned in my comments in the merger discussion I don't think all year articles should be merged for all countries, but these specific ones consisted of internal selections with little public fanfare or widespread media coverage. 2004 is not a full internal selection, so the description of how the artist was selected wouldn't really fit in the main article. Whether the artist selection process was WP:NOTABLE ("little public fanfare or widespread media coverage"), I think would need to be determined in a new merger discussion if that outcome is desired.
