Feedback on Citation Watchlist tool
Hi @Harej, I couldn’t find an obvious place to leave feedback on the Citation Watchlist tool, and I saw your username on the site, so I thought I’d post this to your talk page and ask where best to follow up. The Citation Watchlist is a great addition to the editing toolbox. Like Twinkle, it blends into my workflow and makes spotting questionable sources straightforward. One thing I’ve noticed: it flags The Guardian with a caution icon even when citing standard news articles. Since WP:RSP considers The Guardian generally reliable, with only its blogs falling under caution, it might be worth adjusting how it's flagged. Thanks again for the tool. It’s already proving very useful. HerBauhaus (talk) 08:51, 24 June 2025 (UTC)

Wayback Machine question (not IA BOT)
I wonder if you might know the answer or know someone who does. I was trying to save the latest snapshot of a specific URL (http://trs-80.org/) because the owner died 2 days ago (notice was added to the page and I am trying to capture it to the archive) but the save request comes back as "unreachable". The thing is, I get that same error in my browser when I try to access the page with HTTPS but not when I try to access it with HTTP. All of the older snapshots of the target page are listed as using HTTP so I am wondering if Archive.Org is forcing the protocol to HTTPS in the background? or if you have any idea how to get the snapshot with the death notice? - While I don't have a firm answer to your question as to whether archive.org is forcing HTTPS in the background (I'm pretty sure it doesn't, but there might be other forces driving it), I can confirm that trs-80.org is in the process of being backed up. Harej (talk) 18:13, 27 August 2025 (UTC)
