Corby Moore[edit]

Hi, sorry to let you know that I have put the Corby Moore article up for deletion. Although shown in some reports, he did not actually make his debut against Stevenage on 28 August 2012 and the player that was subbed on was actually Sam Hoskins from looking at this article and from seeing Sam Hoskins on the pitch in the highlights of the game. If you do wish to comment on this or contest it, you are welcome to comment on the Deletion discussion. Thanks Tedaram (talk) 17:35, 29 August 2012 (UTC)

November 2012[edit]

Thanks for contributing the new article Bamidele Alli. However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that material must be verifiable, by being clearly attributed to reliable sources. Please help by adding more sources to the article you created, and/or by clarifying how the sources already given support the material (see here for how to do inline referencing). Many thanks! PS If you need any help, you can look at Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia or ask at Wikipedia:New contributors' help page, or just ask me. GiantSnowman 16:28, 4 November 2012 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Georgio Rasulo[edit]

Hello, Harriesss. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Georgio Rasulo, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. If you don't want Georgio Rasulo to be deleted, please add a reference to the article.

If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page.

Thanks, Mdy66 (talk) 14:37, 16 November 2012 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Giorgio Rasulo[edit]

Ambox warning yellow.svg

The article Giorgio Rasulo has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article about a footballer who fails WP:GNG and who has not played in a fully pro league.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Speedy deletion nomination of Dmitri Arhip[edit]

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Barry McCarthy[edit]

Hello, welcome to WP:CRIC and keep up the good work. I'm afraid the goons descended on this article which admittedly did need better citation. I've fixed it and removed their tags. Have a look and see what you think of it now. It is wise to ensure that inline citations are in place and, especially with a new player like this guy, always best to specify at the outset that he is a first-class cricketer. Anyway, all the best, and give me a shout anytime if you think I could help with anything. Jack | talk page 08:49, 18 November 2015 (UTC)

The burden is on the person wishing to keep in the material to meet these requirements, as a necessary (but not always sufficient) condition. WP:INLINE citations[edit]

It is discouraging that you're continuing to ignore the messages on this issue. If you don't WP:INLINECITE Semisi Tupou, it risks being nominated for deletion. It can also never become a Good Article or Featured Article, and people can't use it easily for research, because it's unclear where each piece of info comes from, becoming more tangled as the article (hopefully) grows - although because of this, editors are put off editing it at all. Please rectify this. Boleyn (talk) 17:22, 15 July 2017 (UTC)

Southampton Academy / Reserves / U23[edit]

Due to recent updates you have have made, please see the discussion hatnote regarding these articles. There should be really only be one article for all sub-departments of each club. This has been agreed to in principle at WP:FOOTY. In the spirit of fairness, ideally the existing Academy article should be the one to stay as it is older, although the U23 article follows the display format better. Hopefully you can see the logic of this and can assist to move all relevant info onto one article and have the other downgraded to a redirect. Please leave any comments etc on the discussion which can be accessed via either article. Thanks.Crowsus (talk) 17:50, 19 July 2017 (UTC)

Ospreys[edit]

Hi @Harriesss:, I've reverted your edits on Ospreys (rugby union) because you added unverified information, introducing a section called "Development Squad", but no citation stating a reliable source that that information comes from. I had a look at the official website, and they don't have such a section. I think that having a Development Squad section is a good thing, but it definitely needs to be verifiable. If you can find a reliable source listing the members of the Ospreys' development squad, feel free to revert my reversion and adding in a reference to the reliable source. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on List of Hampshire County Cricket Club first-class players (2018–present) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Bare URLs[edit]

Hi there, Harriesss. You are continuously adding Bare URLs (i.e. references in the format <ref>url</ref>) to articles. Links like those are very susceptible to link rot; basically, if a website undergoes a redesign which results in article URL changes, the links you're adding will be broken therefore worthless. Can you please have a look at this section for information usually required for web page sources. Also, in this update, you added in the same reference multiple times, meaning it is listed several times in the References / Footnotes section. If you want to use the same source more than once, you should use reference names. Please have a look at this article for more information. Thanks, TheMightyPeanut (talk) 21:39, 13 October 2017 (UTC)

Sources[edit]

Hi there Harriesss, when adding additional information that are not verifiable by existing sources, please ensure you add additional sources so that everything is verifiable. For example, in this edit and this edit, you added additional info not supported by existing references. I've fixed that up now, but please ensure you add additional sources in future. Proposed deletion of Hosea Saumaki[edit]

Hello, Harriesss. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Hosea Saumaki, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. If you don't want Hosea Saumaki to be deleted, please add a reference to the article.

If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page.

Information icon A tag has been placed on Diego Fortuny requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia, because it appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion process. If you can indicate how it is different from the previously posted material, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: Speedy delete contest button.svg which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's discussion directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. If you believe the original discussion was unjustified, please contact the administrator who deleted the page or use deletion review instead of recreating the page. Thank you. Stoinis and Milne at Kent[edit]

Hi. I've commented out the two lines on the table about these chaps for now. They are Blast only signings and that 's ages away - it strikes me as better to wait until they're actually with the team before adding them. Unless there's an obvious and clear rationale for adding them now that I'm missing? Blue Square Thing (talk) 16:42, 15 March 2018 (UTC)

Sources and communication[edit]

Please be aware that WP:Communication is required on Wikipedia when other editors raise concerns, it is not optional, per the policies WP:CONDUCT and WP:DISPUTE. It is also essential that editors respect WP:V, especially when it comes to biographies of living people. Please respond. Boleyn (talk) 10:42, 15 April 2018 (UTC)

It is really disappointing that you are clearly reading messages but refusing to talk to other editors. I reiterate that communication is required. Boleyn (talk) 19:37, 19 April 2018 (UTC)

2018 Royal London One-Day Cup[edit]

Sources (again)[edit]

It is disappointing that you have again created an article with no clear sources (Giosuè Zilocchi), especially as it is a biography of a living people and you have been advised on this issue several times. 'External links' just means suggestions for further reading, and doesn't indicate what its sources were. Biographies of living people need inline citations - see WP:V, WP:BURDEN and WP:INLINECITE. I repeat that it is mandatory to respond to editors who raise concerns - please see WP:Communication is required, WP:CONDUCT and WP:DISPUTE. Continuing to create unclearly referenced blps and continuing to ignore other editors could result in a block - please just respond and let's work together. Thanks for your efforts, Boleyn (talk) 05:46, 10 June 2018 (UTC)

Same for Taine Basham and Dan Babos. Boleyn (talk) 05:49, 10 June 2018 (UTC)

Deletion discussion about Rio Dyer[edit]

Hello, Harriesss,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Rio Dyer should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rio Dyer .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Distiniction/disambiguation between Welsh pro cubs and Welsh Premiership clubs[edit]

Hi there, just been looking through a number of new pages you have created for Welsh professional rugby players. I have removed the phrase "regional team" from any I have seen. In the context of these pages it doesn't really make sense, if you are trying to draw a distinction between Cardiff RFC and Cardiff Blues or Llanelli RFC and Scarlets then it is simpler to direct the wikilink to the side in question and better practice to signify the Welsh Premiership side e.g. "plays for Scarlets in the Pro14 and Llanelli RFC in the Welsh Premiership."

Thank you for creating the articles, I know it can be a chore to find sources for Rugby players with only a handful of games! Skeene88 (talk) 10:06, 16 July 2018 (UTC)

Your contributed article, List of Birmingham Bears Twenty20 players[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, List of Birmingham Bears Twenty20 players. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – List of Hampshire County Cricket Club Twenty20 players. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at List of Hampshire County Cricket Club Twenty20 players. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. noq (talk) 16:57, 4 October 2018 (UTC)
