Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Elevator, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal did not appear constructive and was reverted.

It was only after a long time looking through page histories I realised it was you who added the images originally. That still doesn't mean you can make large content removals like that without an explanation.

There were dozens of edits to the article between you adding and removing the images, over many months, by many different editors, and when someone comes along and removes large chunks of content without explanation it looks to most people like vandalism. On this occasion I investigated, but that will not always happen.

I have removed the images again, as there were far too many images in the article - however, next time please leave an edit summary to explain your edits, so that other editors don't need to waste a lot of time working out what has happened.

Thank you. Begoontalk 17:09, 24 November 2012 (UTC)
