Categorization of articles on Wikipedia is not "unnecessary branding"; it's a mandatory requirement that all articles must follow with no "special" exceptions for any reason. The category system is a method of browsing Wikipedia, which is the primary way that most users will ever even find his article in the first place — so he cannot be excluded from the relevant and appropriate categories just because you think it's not important; categories are a requirement which must be present on the article. Accordingly, please be advised that if you remove the categories again I'm going to protect the page so that you can't edit it at all. Bearcat (talk) 16:39, 4 July 2014 (UTC)
