Speedy deletion of Razorball[edit]

A tag has been placed on Razorball requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Speedy deletion of Live in San Paulo[edit]

A tag has been placed on Live in San Paulo requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Riotrocket8676 You gotta problem with that? 03:22, 17 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've come across this article today as part of the new pages patrol. The article seems of a reasoanbel standard an I'm not willing to nominate it for deletion just yet, though, if you will allow me, I have a few suggestions.

  • Firstly, and most importantly, it needs citations to reliable, third party sources. this derves two purposes- one, it makes information in the article easy to verify, which, in itself, makes it a higher quality article; second, it proves that the subject is notable (having recieved sufficient coverage in third party publications), making it far less likely to be nominated for deletion and, most likely, ensuring its survival, should this happen.

Other than that, it could use a little expansion- expalain its significance and a little context and links to related wikipedia articles. If I can help with any of this, please feel free to contact me here. Regards, HJ Mitchell (talk) 07:12, 17 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Notability of Electric mary[edit]

A tag has been placed on Electric mary requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. JNW (talk) 15:31, 18 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello Haydenwce27! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 2 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 1,563 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

  1. Matt Laug - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
  2. Johnny Griparic - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
