Fair use rationale for File:Neuroscience.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Neuroscience.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 14:20, 17 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading File:Ibroworld.gif. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 22:10, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File:Ibroworld.gif missing description details

[edit]
Dear uploader: The media file you uploaded as File:Ibroworld.gif is missing a description and/or other details on its image description page. If possible, please add this information. This will help other editors to make better use of the image, and it will be more informative for readers.

If the information is not provided, the image may eventually be proposed for deletion, a situation which is not desirable, and which can easily be avoided.

If you have any questions please see Help:Image page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 22:11, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Problems with upload of File:Ibro logoSml.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Ibro logoSml.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

To add this information, click on this link, then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the page and add the information to the image's description. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

IBRO

[edit]

Hi, I appreciate your efforts at this article, but your edits are not in accordance with the WP style guide and, even more seriously, contravenes the interdiction of copyright violations. The latter is illegal and repeatedly inserting copyrighted material into an article may get you blocked from editing. Thanks. --Crusio (talk) 13:04, 10 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Ibro logoSml.jpg

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Ibro logoSml.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:14, 21 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
