Noi Morei[edit]

hi, thanks for the contribution to my discussion page. i don't use the english version of wikipedia so much (because it's not my native language...), that's why i didn't notice your message and that's why i am not very active here (when there's something to correct i just drop my ip to spare time). now i am wondering where my article went - actually i'm angry, because i don't have a copy of it (i wrote the whole thing online). well, that's life. the crap thing is that now i wanted to write an article on tenymouya hisashi, a japanese artist who also mixes folk art with urban art, just like the hungarian guy. i am really much interested in this urban folk art movement (which is no movement yet) - gajin fujita (japanese-american) is another example - and i would write more about that, but realizing that somebody deletes my contributions (it's not the first case) without given reasons destroys my motivation. you seem to be an advanced user, so please give me some tips on how i could publish these things without somebody erasing it. (i had the sources, it was well-written). thx! peace and all good: ian —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kinai (talkcontribs) 01:08, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

Greets again -- I've requested [1] the contents of the deleted Noi Morei be placed in your userspace so that we can take a 2nd look and see why the article was deleted. As you can see from my comments last May, it is essential to have multiple sources with Noi Morei as the primary subject, which have been written independent of Noi Morei (i.e. a national magazine/paper/etc). Check out Wikipedia:Notability (people) for additional info on what is required to for a biographical article to be kept on the english wikipedia. Talk soon.. ∴ here…♠ 05:17, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
The deleted page has been restored at User:Kinai/Noi Morei for your review. The only apparent remaining text source is the following: [2] , which is an article mentioning Noi only once, and not as the primary subject. If you can find additional sources which are about Noi as the primary subject, perhaps we can look at re-creating this as an article. Hope this helps, good luck! ∴ here…♠ 06:14, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

Your username ( kdvp ) and the resulting url for many of your recent additions ( kvdp.blogspot.com/ ) indicate a clear violation of the conflict of interest policies of the wikipedia community. Please stop adding these links and assist in removing any remaining you may have entered. Once the survival wallet has been reviewed and suggested by 3rd party sources relating to the topics edited, it may /perhaps/ be added, by someone else. Proposed deletion of Rojo.com[edit]

Ambox warning yellow.svg

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Rojo.com, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Alexf42 17:02, 30 September 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for the note, I've removed the template. The company was/is notable per WP:WEB as determined in prior afd discussions. It should likely redirect to blogs.com or Six Apart in the nearish future as "rojo.com" has been rebranded into those two entities. Thanks for your contribs. here 03:22, 1 October 2008 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Rojo.com[edit]

Ambox warning pn.svg

A tag has been placed on Rojo.com requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for web content. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. AfD nomination of Rojo.com[edit]

Ambox warning pn.svg

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Rojo.com. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rojo.com (2nd nomination). Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:07, 23 December 2009 (UTC)

Codemirror gadget for Wiki[edit]

Heya! We didn't get to do a codemirror one, but got along pretty far on an ACE based one! You can check that up at wikiCodeEditor. ArbCom elections are now open![edit]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Speedy deletion nomination of NationBuilder[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on NationBuilder requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Me-123567-Me (talk) 00:48, 6 December 2015 (UTC)

Thanks Me, replied with an additional source. Not appropriate for speedy, please nominate for wp:afd if you'd like to see it removed. here 03:12, 6 December 2015 (UTC)

Signpost exit poll[edit]

Dear Wikipedian, you recently voted in the ArbCom election. Your username, along with around 155 other usernames of your fellow Wikipedians, was randomly selected from the 2000+ Wikipedians who voted this year, with the help of one of the election-commissioners. If you are willing, could you please participate (at your option either on-wiki via userspace or off-wiki via email) in an exit poll, and answer some questions about how you decided amongst the ArbCom candidates?

If you decide to participate in this exit poll, the statistical results will be published in the Signpost, an online newspaper with over 1000 Wikipedians among the readership. There are about twelve questions, which have alphanumerical answers; it should take you a few minutes to complete the exit poll questionnaire, and will help improve Wikipedia by giving future candidates information about what you think is important. This is only an unofficial survey, and will have no impact on your actual vote during this election, nor in any future election.

All questions are individually optional, and this entire exit poll itself is also entirely optional, though if you choose not to participate, I would appreciate a brief reply indicating why you decided not to take part (see Question Zero). Thanks for being a Wikipedian

The questionnaire[edit]

Dear Wikipedian, please fill out these questions -- at your option via usertalk or via email, see Detailed Instructions at the end of the twelve questions -- by putting the appropriate answer in the blanks provided. If you decide not to answer a question (all questions are optional), please put the reason down: "undecided" / "private information" / "prefer not to answer" / "question is not well-posed" / "other: please specify". Although the Signpost cannot guarantee that complex answers can be processed for publication, it will help us improve future exit polls, if you give us comments about why you could not answer specific questions.

GamerPro64 will be processing the email-based answers, and will strive to maintain the privacy of your answers (as well as your email address and the associated IP address typically found in the email-headers), though of course as a volunteer effort, we cannot legally guarantee that GamerPro64 will have a system free from computer virii, we cannot legally guarantee that GamerPro64 will resist hypothetical bribes offered by the KGB/NSA/MI6 to reveal your secrets, and we cannot legally guarantee that GamerPro64 will make no mistakes. If you choose to answer on-wiki, your answers will be visible to other Wikipedians. If you choose to answer via email, your answers will be sent unencrypted over the internet, and we will do our best to protect your privacy, but unencrypted email is inherently an improper mechanism for doing so. Sorry!  :-)

We do promise to try hard, not to make any mistakes, in the processing and presentation of your answers. If you have any questions or concerns, you may contact column-editor GamerPro64, copy-editor 75.108.94.227, or copy-editor Ryk72. Thanks for reading, and thanks for helping Wikipedia. Speedy deletion nomination of NationBuilder[edit]

I am not an admin and don't have the authority to delete or undelete an article. For that you need to ask DGG (talk · contribs). Me-123567-Me (talk) 02:58, 10 December 2015 (UTC)

Thank you Me :) here 03:37, 10 December 2015 (UTC)
Keep in mind speedy deletion is not PROD. He doesn't have to reverse the deletion just to go through AfD. Articles get deleted all the time that are contested via speedy. Me-123567-Me (talk) 04:48, 10 December 2015 (UTC)

Draft:Nation Builder concern[edit]

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Nation Builder, a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:33, 5 June 2016 (UTC)
