December 2010[edit]

Your addition to Sam Higginbottom Institute of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other websites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. Please put more effort into your articles[edit]

Greetings, several of your recent articles, such as Dhanaji Jadhav Monument, Jai Jai Maharashtra Majha, Balwantrao Yadav High School are not yet suitable for Wikipedia. I strongly suggest you try using the Wikipedia:Article wizard and submit your articles for review at WP:Articles for creation, as if you continue to produce unready articles, they will simply be deleted.

Also note that since your articles are not properly copyedited, and you have not included WP:Categories, your articles are automatically being tagged as deficient, which requires other human editors to take the time to fix the issues in your articles.

There is a requirement that articles be of sufficient quality and properly sourced, which you are not yet meeting, and it can be a frustrating process to have your work undone. Better instead to go through an introductory process so other editors can review your drafts and advise you. MatthewVanitas (talk) 20:11, 8 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits at Shivaji[edit]

ok--Historylover123 (talk) 03:36, 20 November 2012 (UTC) Greetings,three point:[reply]

  • The article does not need a listing of every film about Shivaji, particularly not ones that don't have their own Wiki articles for a reader to follow. Also, a link to a film fan-site is not a WP:Reliable source and need not be linked.
  • I see you attempted to link words multiple times in the article, but per WP:Wikilinks a term should be linked only once, on its first appearance. There is no need to link Bijapur, Bijapur, Bijapur throughout the article.
  • Further, you are failing to provide a proper WP:Edit summary as you edit, so please ensure that each time you hit "Save" you have provided a brief explanation of what/why you are changing. MatthewVanitas (talk) 20:19, 8 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
You are continuing to make edits with no links for Notability, no explanation in Edit Summary, and no response on your Talk page. It is not cooperative/collaborative to try to get your way without discussing any of your edits with other editors. Please pause in your editing and take the time to discuss the matter; I submit your list of dozen+ films cited to a fan-site is not appropriate. MatthewVanitas (talk) 18:39, 9 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
And you just changed the very reasonable link Filmography of Shivaji to "FILMS ON THE LIFE OF SHIVAJI MAHARAJ". That's not a standard title, has an unnecessary honorific, is in all capital letters (this is considered "SHOUTING") and yet again you failed to leave an edit summary. Please slow down your editing, communicate with other editors, and pay attention to the basic rules of Wikipedia. MatthewVanitas (talk) 15:41, 10 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Bhadole to Wikipedia, as doing so is not in accordance with our policies. For more information about creating articles, you may want to read Wikipedia:Your first article; you might also consider using the Article Wizard. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Please stop creating empty articles on small, non-notable cities, names, and other things specific to--but irrelevant outside of--India. If you cannot be bothered to find and add enough information to display why the subject deserves an article, do not create an article. Please pause in your editing, and communicate with others, or you will be blocked[edit]

stop A large number of your efforts have been inappropriate, and are wasting the time of multiple editors who are following you around and cleaning up after you. Have you not noticed that essentially all of he articles you've created are up for deletion? This is not because anyone is against you, but because you have simply not paid attention to the basic rules and customs of Wikipedia. If, for example, after the first deletion you had posted at any of our many places to get help and asked for advice, plenty of people would be happy to help you. Instead, you have pressed forward blindly, making poor edits, and completely ignoring others who are trying to help you.

If today I see you continue to make poor edits and failing to communicate with others, I will report you for disruptive editing, and I have no doubt your account will be blocked. Instead please pause, and come to any of our Help desks (I suggest Wikipedia:Teahouse/Questions) and folks will be happy to discuss with you what needs to improve in your editing. MatthewVanitas (talk) 15:48, 10 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Seconded If you'd slow down long enough to first read, understand and follow Wikipedia's policies on new articles and content, then take the time to formulate articles with depth and content worth reading, or at the least focus on one article at a time and ask for help from the many people here who would be happy to give it, you would not only not waste your own time, but the time of the many people who you have forced to come along and clean up the mess you're making. besiegedtalk 18:44, 10 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Iope[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Iope requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Your contributed article, Filmography of Shivaji[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Filmography of Shivaji. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Shivaji in popular culture. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Shivaji in popular culture – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Francophonie&Androphilie (Je vous invite à me parler) 02:03, 16 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Historylover123, and thank you for your contributions!

I wanted to let you know it seems an article you worked on, Films about Shivaji Maharaj, is copied from another Wikipedia page, Shivaji in popular culture. It's fine to do this as long as you provide the following information in the edit summary:

  1. a link to the article you copied from
  2. the date you copied it

You can do this now by editing the page, making any minor edit to the article, and adding the above information into the edit summary.

If you're still not sure how to fix the problem, please leave a message at the help desk. It's possible that I made a mistake, so feel free to remove the tag I placed on the article.

Thanks again for helping build the free encyclopedia! MadmanBot (talk) 16:45, 18 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Films about Shivaji Maharaj, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

It may meet Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion under CSD csd

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time.

If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you.

You need to stop and communicate before making any more edits[edit]

stop You've come back and immediately resumed disruptive editing, including multiple undiscussed page moves, some to inappropriate titles, dumping non-notable data into stable pages, etc. You are also continuing your practise of never leaving an edit summary and of not communicating on Talk pages. You can't simply wander Wiki doing whatever you like, you have to collaborate with others and understand the process. I'm requesting a temporary block of your account until you can take the time to relax and communicate with others. MatthewVanitas (talk) 17:18, 18 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you.

  • Historylover, this is a collaborative project. You need to communicate. You don't respond to warnings here on your talk page, you don't write edit summaries, you don't offer any kind of explanation for what you're doing. You are at risk for being blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because of that, and I suggest now is a good time to change that. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 17:27, 19 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
    • Your continued editing without any attempts to communicate with other users via talk pages is problematic. You need to start doing so now. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 18:50, 19 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Why are you building two redundant articles? Please respond.[edit]

Greetings, you're working on both Films about Shivaji Maharaj and Shivaji in popular culture at the same time. Why is it you're doing both? We don't need two articles on the exact same subject, so this is not a good use of your time. Yet again, please pause in your editing and communicate with us so we can figure out the best way to improve the articles. Can you at least confirm you're even reading this Talk page? MatthewVanitas (talk) 04:03, 19 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Coordinates at Lonere[edit]

Greetings, I see you've provided coordinates at Lonere, but just typed them in with no coding. If you code them in, they'll interface with all the maps and other geo programs, and even produce a map pointing out Lonere for the article itself. Please contact me and I'll help you to do this. Again, you need to communicate with other editors and will find it very helpful if you do. MatthewVanitas (talk) 18:01, 19 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
