Image tagging for Image:Tung Sol 6550.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Tung Sol 6550.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. AfD nomination of List of Ivan Dobsky Tortures[edit]

List of Ivan Dobsky Tortures, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that List of Ivan Dobsky Tortures satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Ivan Dobsky Tortures and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of List of Ivan Dobsky Tortures during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Man It's So Loud In Here 17:18, 6 September 2007 (UTC)

Hi, in the future, please keep a couple things in mind:
  • It's confusing to redirect an article that's being debated at AfD; it removes the AfD tag (which you shouldn't do).
  • Please don't move articles by cutting and pasting. That violates the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, under which all of Wikipedia is licensed. Please use the "move" button, or, if the new name is occupied, list it at Wikipedia:Requested moves.
Thanks. — TKD::Talk 01:20, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Tungsol-logo.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Tungsol-logo.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:44, 29 September 2007 (UTC)

Notability of Audiogon[edit]

Information icon.svg

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Audiogon, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Audiogon is an article about a certain website, blog, forum, or other web content that does not assert the importance or significance of that web location. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles, as well as notability guidelines for websites. Please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources which verify their content.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Audiogon, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Notification of automated file description generation[edit]

Your upload of File:Abstractcoloricon.JPG or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.

This notification is placed on your talk page because a bot has identified you either as the uploader of the file, or as a contributor to its metadata. It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks!
