Hong Kong PR closure[edit]

OK, thanks ... now I can finally feel free to put the hardcopy in the recycling pile.

I'll scan my passport's flags and stamps soon. Daniel Case (talk) 02:22, 6 March 2018 (UTC)

@Daniel Case: Thanks for doing that! And sounds good, that image will be very useful. Thanks, Horserice (talk) 03:49, 7 March 2018 (UTC)

The images[edit]

How do these look? And this way of presenting them?

Passport stamps from a day visit to Shenzhen from Hong Kong
Oval and rectangular stamps, in red ink, with Chinese characters around the edges and "2013-08-06" in the middle
Entry and exit stamps from Luohu Port in Shenzhen
A piece of white paper with a mix of Chinese and English. The English text says the visitor is permitted to remain until 4 November 2013; other fields are for the bearer's name and travel document number (both blurred into illegibility). The arrival date is given as "06-08-2013".
Entry stamp, on attached paper flag, for the same day from Hong Kong's Lo Wu Control Point, affixed upon return from Shenzhen
@Daniel Case: Yeah, that looks great! We can move the current caption under the passport multi-image into prose, and your stamps would definitely hit the point home. Thanks again for digging this up! -Horserice (talk) 23:26, 14 March 2018 (UTC)

Hong Kong FAC[edit]

Hi, I've watchlisted this FAC, so there's no need to ping me - especially multiple times. I had heaps of notifications when I logged in! Regards, Nick-D (talk) 07:07, 7 March 2018 (UTC)

@Nick-D: Whoops, sorry about that! I'll refrain from using replyto in the review. Horserice (talk) 08:09, 7 March 2018 (UTC)

Chiselling away...[edit]

Hey- I noticed you were recently working on the Hong Kong article a lot. I have been working on the Wuhan article some as well and I noticed that the Hong Kong article is highly rated, but the Wuhan article is still at C-level. Would you mind giving me any thoughts about how I should improve the Wuhan article? Please edit it if you are interested! Geographyinitiative (talk) 14:00, 30 March 2018 (UTC)
