Freeman article[edit]

Teeveeed, the freeman article fix up is good. Please remove the maintenance tags, or reply to me. thanks Signed, formbearer@gmail.com — Preceding unsigned comment added by 5.101.136.107 (talk) 22:16, 25 April 2017 (UTC)

Teeveeed, FYI duffbeerforme is wrong about freeman. He invented Electronic Talk'N Play 100%. One should do some research before making such aspersions. This article needs to be fixed and sourced properly.

Teeveeed, more on freeman. I looked back over freeman history. duffbeerforme has stubied this article before and the article needs fixing. Can you fix? I will do more researcxh if you need. I am not COI in anyway. The LKing was just an FYI but I agree not sourceable. I do not check wiki much so email if you want my help. This article needs to be fixed not stubied. I hope you agree. Below is what I found in 10 minutes. I beleieve all below are valid sources. thanks, formbearer@gmail.com

Teeveeed, the freeman article fix up is good. Please remove the maintenance tags. Signed, formbearer@gmail.com

Teeveed, on the Duffbeerforme talk page, he says he does not know how to remove the freeman article templates, although (I believe) he put them there. Strange? The article is now clean so the templates should be removed. Can you do this? Thanks,Drycroft4 (talk) 07:36, 12 May 2017 (UTC)

Drycroft4 Please put your request on the article's talk page in a new section at the bottom of the page and if everything looks okay I will do it-Also, the other editor did not say that they do not know how. thanks.TeeVeeed (talk) 17:48, 12 May 2017 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for May 25[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 60 Days In, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page KRNV (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open![edit]

Scale of justice 2.svg Hello, TeeVeeed. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)

BLP[edit]

Please stop making disruptive edits, as you did at Fidel Castro.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. - WP:BLP applies everywhere, including edit summaries. Mjroots (talk) 16:10, 26 November 2016 (UTC)

Not really sure how stating well sourced facts that castro was a dictator and murderer and that maybe the POV pushing editors who suggested that we only use global sourcing for the article, like African and Chinese sources., and reminding said editors who were/are writing a hagiography for the monster that they could go edit Cuban Wikipedia except that Cuba has no real internet in the summary is "disruptive" and needed to be deleted from edit history summary? This is a stain on WP and they are out of line and have been told by multiple editors already. I'm not warring with these POV pushers, like they are with everyone else, just making note of their biased, weird editing choices. TeeVeeed (talk) 20:35, 26 November 2016 (UTC)

Dispute Notification[edit]

I have filed a dispute on the article of Fidel Castro. I do this because it is recommended "If you begin a discussion of another user on a common notice board, it is expected that you will notify the subject user by posting a message on their talk page". Do not report me as vandal. This is the only instance in which I will write something here. If this is not the way to do it, let me know how it is done. Thanks for the assist, from the Signpost[edit]

Hi TeeVeeed,

Many thanks for stepping in to help out with In the Media for our last edition! As I'm sure you've picked up, we are a bit short-staffed and disorganized these days...and help with that section in particular is most welcome. It really put some wind in our sails as we were getting it together.

Might you be willing to continue in that mode? We could use help compiling media reports, and drafting blurbs, much as you did last time. If you like, I could assemble a list of our best sources to mine -- or you could just add the ones you happen upon in your web explorations. I've started the In the Media page for our next edition; feel free to add to it. We plan to publish February 1; we've found it works best to add things incrementally if possible (though we are often bad about doing that, and end up with a big job at the deadline). -Pete Forsyth (talk) 08:35, 24 January 2017 (UTC)

YES! Thanks, I would love to help out, that is my favorite section, I'm on it! TeeVeeed (talk) 14:26, 24 January 2017 (UTC)
Cool! If you want to work on a story, take a look at the Periodic Table item I just added. If you could get a quote from the astronomer about her thoughts about releasing under a free license (which, per the comment thread, it looks like she is open to) and from the Wikipedian who made the WP version, you could probably make a nice short, 3-4 paragraph story out of it. Happy to help if you'd like to pursue that. -Pete Forsyth (talk) 19:54, 24 January 2017 (UTC)
I'll try to take a look later today. Also, yes I'm interested in sources for "In the Media" especially if there are any shortcuts to on tv/broadcast/cable and youtube, (other forms of media)--and books, and podcasts. I ♥ editorial oversight and collaboration so don't worry about hurting feels here.TeeVeeed (talk) 20:29, 24 January 2017 (UTC)
Pete Forsyth -still trying to reach-out to the author of the newer periodic table. I'm waiting for a reply but I used my personal Twitter account which is a little weird. It looks like she wants to tweak it a little based on feedback from the articles? Yeah she posted in comments that she will release it CCA but that doesn't give me enough confidence to upload it to Commons yet unless she explicitly says so?TeeVeeed (talk) 14:23, 26 January 2017 (UTC)

Signpost suggestions page[edit]

Hi TeeVeeed, you made some odd changes with this edit [1]. I assumed they were accidental/inadvertent and reverted (apart from the comment you added) [2]. Cheers, - Evad37 [talk] 14:55, 16 February 2017 (UTC)

That is odd! I cannot even begin to untangle where that all came from. That was not what I thought I did--just weird.TeeVeeed (talk) 16:46, 16 February 2017 (UTC)

Sourcing and content[edit]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Tiotropium bromide, without citing a reliable source using an inline citation that clearly supports the material. The burden is on the person wishing to keep in the material to meet these requirements, as a necessary (but not always sufficient) condition. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Jytdog (talk) 20:19, 2 March 2017 (UTC)

That article needs some serious work, which I will do by end of the weekend. There are two MEDRS sources on the combination drug (see here) and it should be discussed in WP. will do that. Jytdog (talk) 20:23, 2 March 2017 (UTC)
You owe me a coke. I just posted on your TP. Also. I have a continuing prob. with citations/references. I have to manually enter them, the drop-down thing has not been working for me for ages.TeeVeeed (talk) 20:26, 2 March 2017 (UTC)
Yes I do - you helped me see a hole. Thanks for that. The drop down thing sometimes flakes on me too. I find that quitting my browser usually restores it. Jytdog (talk) 20:35, 2 March 2017 (UTC)
Okay-GL sorting that out. As I said I really didn't feel confident to create an article on the stuff but I was hoping for other eyes to check on it. Thank-you. TeeVeeed (talk) 20:59, 2 March 2017 (UTC)

The statements are poorly sourced and do not confirm anything:

  • The network has not confirmed anything.
  • Us Weekly and Hollywood Life are not reliable.
  • The Huffington Post is based on Us Weekly article
  • Vague tweets are not good sources.
  • from the NJ.com "source" : "gossip sites have been buzzing", "Page Six reported....", "casting rumours"

Dispute Resolution Noticeboard Volunteer Roll Call[edit]

This is a volunteer roll call sent to you on behalf of the current Dispute Resolution Noticeboard Coordinator, Robert McClenon, and is being sent to you because you have listed yourself as a volunteer at DRN. If you remain interested in helping at DRN and are willing to actively do so by taking at least one case (and seeing it through) or helping with administrative matters at least once per calendar month, please add your name to the roll call list. Those who do not add their name on the roll call list will be removed from the principal volunteer list after May 31, 2017 unless the DRN Coordinator chooses to retain their name for the best interest of DRN or the encyclopedia. Individuals whose names are removed after May 31, 2017, should feel free to re-add their names to the principal volunteer list, but are respectfully requested not to do so unless they are willing to take part at DRN at least one time per month as noted above. No one is going to be monitoring to see if you live up to that commitment, but we respectfully ask that you either live up to it or remove your name from the principal volunteer list.
