Disambiguation link notification for December 15[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Pan-Philippine Highway, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Laguna and EDSA (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:17, 15 December 2017 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Tagaytay Rotonda[edit]

Ambox warning yellow.svg

The article Tagaytay Rotonda has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

fails WP:GNG

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Information icon Hello, I'm Hayman30. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Marshmello, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Hayman30 (talk) 04:30, 26 January 2018 (UTC)

Your contributed article, Crankdat (DJ)[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Crankdat (DJ). First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Crankdat. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Crankdat. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. — Zawl 03:32, 7 February 2018 (UTC)

Axwell & Ingrosso[edit]

When you split content or make large removals as you did at Axwell & Ingrosso, you should absolutely be noting in the edit summary on the page you moved it from where the content has gone, not just on the target article. Otherwise this may look disruptive to other editors. Thank you. Ss112 04:35, 24 March 2018 (UTC)

Deletion discussion about Naic–Indang Road[edit]

Hello, HueMan1,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Naic–Indang Road should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Naic–Indang Road .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks,

File:Marshmello and Bastille Happier.jpg[edit]

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:16, 17 August 2018 (UTC)

Making highway maps for Mindanao.[edit]

Hi! I was thinking about making a highway map for the Mindanao roads. Do you know any programs that could make a highway map? Also, I could definitely need your assistance on this project. We will base the highway maps from OpenStreetMap since it is a free-based map source. Thanks! Marwan_Khan (talk) 02:08, 25 August 2018 (UTC)

Template:WikiProject Philippine Roads[edit]

Hi, I see that you have created Template:WikiProject Philippine Roads. It seems to be a straight copy of Template:WikiProject U.S. Roads, but with every instance of "U.S." changed to "Philippine", and every instance of "USRD" changed to "PHLRD". This is not a good idea: in fact, out of all the many hundreds of WikiProject templates, Template:WikiProject U.S. Roads is possibly the worst example to copy from. It has a number of non-standard, deprecated and outdated features which will make it extremely difficult to adapt for a new role in a satisfactory manner. Virtually all other WikiProject banner templates are built around the core of Template:WPBannerMeta, see for example Template:WikiProject Highways. But rather than creating a new WikiProject banner template, have you considered using {{WikiProject Highways|asia=yes}} on the talk pages of your articles? --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 09:42, 7 September 2018 (UTC)

@Redrose64: I am very sorry for that mess. I'll fix this after the discussion about the sub-project. --hueman1 (talk) 12:41, 7 September 2018 (UTC)

Your speedy deletion request[edit]

Hello, HueMan1. You requested speedy deletion of the redirect page N79 highway (Philippines), saying the namespace is needed for an article. I declined the request because you used a WP:G7 request, which does not apply because you are not the only author of that page. Were you planning to move the existing page Ipil-Dipolog Road to the name N79 highway (Philippines)? That can’t be done via a speedy deletion request, because it would be controversial. Back in August, user Marwan Khan moved the page from N79 highway (Philippines) to Ipil-Dipolog Road. You can’t move it back without first having a discussion and getting agreement. I suggest you follow the procedure described at Wikipedia:Requested moves. And be sure you get agreement from the other users - Marwan Khan and Dongkarlo - who have expressed an opinion about the name. --MelanieN (talk) 00:50, 15 November 2018 (UTC)

@MelanieN: I'm sorry for that, but Marwan Khan (the author) asked me for assistance in moving the article back to its former name, since the road has no unified name to represent the article, I guess it would be more appropriate to use its old name, N79 highway (Philippines). --hueman1 (talk) 10:03, 15 November 2018 (UTC)
If the other editor is in agreement, then you can request it that it be deleted because it is getting in the way of a page move. Tag it with the template {{Db-move|page to be moved|reason}}. In between the | lines, fill in in the name of the page to be moved and the reason for moving it. -- MelanieN (talk) 18:17, 15 November 2018 (UTC)
