Script errors[edit]

Prior to your recent edit, Template:Infobox gene called the getAliasFromGenomeAssembly function in Module:Sandbox/genewiki/geneboxdev. You recently retargeted that template to use Module:Infobox gene instead, which doesn't have such a function (although it does have _mm and _hs variations on the name). This causes pages that use that template, such as Reelin, to appear in Category:Pages with script errors. Can you fix this? Thanks, Jackmcbarn (talk) 02:57, 8 November 2015 (UTC)

@Jackmcbarn: Looking into it right now --Benjamin Good (talk) 15:21, 8 November 2015 (UTC)
@Jackmcbarn: It looks like the template was wrong. The call to getAliasFromGenomeAssembly without a _mm or _hs was an error leftover from earlier version of the module. I fixed the template, but it looks like Reelin still appears in Category:Pages with script errors. Is there any way to see why it is still in that list ? Thanks. --Benjamin Good (talk) 15:35, 8 November 2015 (UTC)
It's this snippet of code: http://genome.ucsc.edu/cgi-bin/hgTracks?org=Mouse{{#invoke:Infobox_gene|getAliasFromGenomeAssembly_mm|{{#invoke:Infobox_gene|getQualifierID|P644|P659|FETCH_WIKIDATA|{{#invoke:Infobox_gene |getQIDFromID |{{#invoke:Wikidata|pageId}} |P684}} }} }}. The outermost #invoke is giving the message "The ID entered is unknown to the system. Please use a valid entity ID." Jackmcbarn (talk) 16:34, 8 November 2015 (UTC)
@Jackmcbarn: On it.. --Benjamin Good (talk) 16:24, 9 November 2015 (UTC)
@Jackmcbarn: I fixed the template. Reelin is no longer in Category:Pages with script errors. Thanks for noticing and giving me time to fix it.. (BTW we are working hard on a new implementation of that template that should be much easier to debug and less prone to errors.. --Benjamin Good (talk) 17:19, 9 November 2015 (UTC)
