December 2016[edit]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Albania shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Dr. K. 17:00, 10 December 2016 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Tourism in Albania. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Dr. K. 17:07, 10 December 2016 (UTC)

Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion[edit]

Information icon Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. The thread is Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring#User:Iaof2017 reported by User:Dr.K. (Result: ). Thank you. Dr. K. 17:18, 10 December 2016 (UTC)

Iaof2017, if you can't respond and give a good explanation of what you're up to you will most likely be blocked. You could avoid this if you will agree to take a break from all editing about Albania. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 17:34, 10 December 2016 (UTC)

Sockpuppet investigation[edit]

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Melarnik, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

Dr. K. 16:44, 11 December 2016 (UTC)

January 2017[edit]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at Albanian Riviera, you may be blocked from editing. Thank you. Dl2000 (talk) 17:54, 7 January 2017 (UTC)

Copying within Wikipedia requires proper attribution[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Budapest into Tirana. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was moved, attribution is not required. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 15:22, 8 January 2017 (UTC)

I have added the required attribution with this edit. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 19:10, 8 January 2017 (UTC)
I see you are still not adding the required attribution, as required under the terms of the CC-by-SA license. Please have a look at this edit summary as an example of how it is done. Please leave a message on my talk page if you still don't understand what to do or why we have to do it. Thanks, — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 14:13, 23 January 2017 (UTC)
I see you are still not adding the required attribution, as required under the terms of the CC-by-SA license. Please start doing this immediately when copying from one article to another, or you risk being blocked form editing. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 23:36, 2 March 2017 (UTC)

Thank you for informing me, i wouldn't do that anymore!

Again you have copied from one location to another without providing the legally required attribution. You removed content from Geography of Albania and created the article Climate of Albania. Here's how to provide attribution: at the destination article state in the edit summary where you got the content. Here's a sample edit summary: "Attribution: content in this article was moved here from Geography of Albania. Please see the history of that page for full attribution." This is your final warning. Next time you move or copy material without providing attribution you will be blocked from editing. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 21:20, 20 April 2017 (UTC)

Hey Diana,

i didnt copied anything, i just took the information from the "Geography of Albania" article and ive put that into the new article "Climate of Albania", i just replaced it, i dont know now whats the problem?

Thank you!

You took prose from one location in Wikipedia and moved it to another location. Whenever you do that, you have to say in your edit summary what the source article was. This is so that the original authors of the prose get credit ("attribution") for their work. You have to do this each time you move or copy stuff! It's a legal requirement! — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 21:53, 20 April 2017 (UTC)

Okay thank you so much for informing me, that wouldn't happend again!

Template:Pristina[edit]

Twice now you have added File:Prishtina_Municipality_Seal.svg to this template. That image is tagged as copyrighted, non-free. As such, it must comply with our Wikipedia:Non-free content criteria policy. #9 from that policy explicitly forbids the use of any non-free imagery outside of actual articles on the project. Thus, templates may not host a non-free image on them. Please do not restore this image to that template again, as you did here. If you have questions, please ask. Thanks, --Hammersoft (talk) 21:45, 11 January 2017 (UTC)

Thank you that you informed me. It will not happen again!

Wikipedia and copyright[edit]

Control copyright icon Hello Iaof2017, and welcome to Wikipedia. All or some of your addition(s) to Tourism in Albania have been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributing to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. However, there are steps that must be taken to verify that license before you do. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are public domain or compatibly licensed), it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at the help desk before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 14:42, 3 February 2017 (UTC)

Copyright problem icon Your addition to Albania has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. March 2017[edit]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Albania. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing Wikipedia. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. Dr. K. 21:17, 17 March 2017 (UTC)

Biodiversity of Albania[edit]

It's nice to see the work you're doing on this article. What is the meaning of the list of species in the flora section? I think you need a sentence prior to it explaining what they are. Right now it just seems like a random list of species. Keep up the good work. Fredlyfish4 (talk) 19:04, 19 April 2017 (UTC)

Hey thank you, i just saw those flora species on the Category:Flora of Albania which can be found in Albania. :O

Stop using dishonest edit summaries[edit]

Here, you used a dishonest edit summary [1] to conceal removal material you apparently do not like it. This is a major no-no. Don't do it again. Khirurg (talk) 22:21, 20 April 2017 (UTC)

close paraphrasing issue[edit]

Your addition to Constitutional Court of Albania has been removed or altered, as it appears to closely paraphrase a copyrighted source. Limited close paraphrasing or quotation is appropriate within reason, so long as the material is clearly attributed in the text. However, longer paraphrases which are not attributed to their source may constitute copyright violation or plagiarism, and are not acceptable on Wikipedia. Such content cannot be hosted here for legal reasons; please do not upload it. You may use external websites or printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If you own the copyright to the text, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the copyright but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Thank you. Calliopejen1 (talk) 16:46, 19 May 2017 (UTC)

You have been warned at least twice in the past about copying content from other websites into Wikipedia. You need to take this issue seriously and change your editing practices. Never copy and paste text from another site here and then change some words around. You are likely to end up with edits like your addition to Constitutional Court of Albania that are far too close to the source and present copyright and plagiarism issues. Calliopejen1 (talk) 16:46, 19 May 2017 (UTC)

Thank you, i will take care of it.

Congratulations[edit]

Hi, thanks for creating such a beautiful and informative page Biodiversity of Kosovo. Albania-Estonia relations[edit]

Hi, could I ask why you've added basically the same text to both Albania-Estonia relations and Albania–Estonia relations, when they were redirects before? For your information, there is a deletion discussion about one of these articles here, where you may like to explain why you have added the same text to both articles.  Seagull123  Φ  19:46, 2 June 2017 (UTC)

It was a mistake :/ i dont know how it happens, i thought the first article were deleted i dont know why but i see now the problem! im sorry

Don't worry about it, it just seems a bit strange that you would add it to both articles - that's all Face-smile.svg. PS, Please remember to sign your comments on talk pages, by adding four tildes (like this: ~~~~) after any message you leave on a talk page. This produces your signature (like mine which follows this message), which allows people to see who said what and when. Thanks.  Seagull123  Φ  21:51, 2 June 2017 (UTC)

Copyright problem on Demographics of Albania[edit]

In the future, please add attribution when copying from public domain sources: simply add the template {{PD-notice}} after your citation. I have done so for the above article. Please do this in the future so that our readers will be aware that you copied the prose rather than wrote it yourself. Thanks, — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 20:21, 2 June 2017 (UTC)

Ok Thank you for informing me, to be honest i didnt know that. That will not happend again! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Iaof2017 (talkcontribs)

Ok Thank you for informing me, to be honest i didnt know that. That will not happend again!: You got to be kidding. On 20 April 2017, Diannaa told you:

You took prose from one location in Wikipedia and moved it to another location. Whenever you do that, you have to say in your edit summary what the source article was. This is so that the original authors of the prose get credit ("attribution") for their work. You have to do this each time you move or copy stuff! It's a legal requirement!

and you replied: Okay thank you so much for informing me, that wouldn't happend again!
Again, on On 3 March 2017, Dianna told you:

I see you are still not adding the required attribution, as required under the terms of the CC-by-SA license. Please have a look at this edit summary as an example of how it is done. Please leave a message on my talk page if you still don't understand what to do or why we have to do it. Thanks

and you replied: Thank you for informing me, i wouldn't do that anymore!
Again, on On 3 February 2017, Dianna told you:

Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

and you replied: Thank you!
Again, on 23 January 2017, Dianna told you:

:I see you are still not adding the required attribution, as required under the terms of the CC-by-SA license. Please have a look at this edit summary as an example of how it is done. Please leave a message on my talk page if you still don't understand what to do or why we have to do it. Thanks

Can you explain this inability to grasp this concept and your inability to remember your many violations of it? I am expecting a good answer, because if Dianna does not block you for these endless violations, I will report you at WP:ANI if you continue, even just one more time. Dr. K. 06:07, 3 June 2017 (UTC)

Yo, Iaof2017[edit]

I like a good chunk of your work as you have addressed things like nature related content on Albania, Kosovo etc. However your editing on other articles is in need of some refinement. I say this because though you are not in strife now, there are editors who would like to how shall i put it curtail your contributions in a permanent fashion. Please, please, please familiarise yourself with Wikipedia polices on images and other matters on content. You have the makings of becoming a fine contributor to Albanian related Wikipedia pages and its nice to see Albanian editors once again after there was almost no one left. Some actions done by yourself can unnecessarily get your work hampered and often in other similar situations that has led to Albanian editors being undone by other editors (for whatever reasons) to end their contributions. Some of those editors have made a sport out of doing that without making any other types of real significant contributions on Wikipedia on their part. Take heed of this advice. If you have queries you can discuss this on my page or yours. Also when making a comment sign off by typing this symbol ~ on the keyboard 4 times. Best.Resnjari (talk) 14:21, 4 June 2017 (UTC)

June 2017[edit]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Part Four of the Albanian Constitution a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Proposed deletion of List of presidential trips made by Ilir Meta[edit]

Ambox warning yellow.svg

The article List of presidential trips made by Ilir Meta has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Subject of article is of questionable notability, as Meta has not become President yet, much less been on a presidential trip. This may simply be WP:TOOSOON for such a list, which can be re-created once content exists.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Improper cut-and-paste article move[edit]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Please add WP:RELIABLESOURCES.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

October 2017[edit]

Thank you. Dr. K. 19:44, 15 October 2017 (UTC)

Warning[edit]

Here [2] you sneakily removed sourced text about the Greek language being the second most widely spoken language in the country. Probably you hoped no on would notice. Here you added irrelevant unsourced junk [3].

This isn't the first time you tried such dirty tricks (remember how you sneakily tried to remove the Greek language sign because it bothered you so much?) So, I am going to warn you for one LAST time: Next time you try another dirty trick, you are going to be in BIG trouble. Clear? Khirurg (talk) 06:46, 1 December 2017 (UTC)

For all editors involved, please observe civility (as per WP:CIVILITY) as saying someone is in "BIG trouble" or refering to "dirty tricks" may be taken as not being in good faith. Thankyou.Resnjari (talk) 13:26, 1 December 2017 (UTC)

First of all, it wasn't my intention to delete that, and there is nothing wrong that i just want it to put new information on that section and few corrections, to be honest i didnt noticed that, that i was changed that (greek second language) cause there was so so many informations but although im sorry for that!

Hey Iaof2017, I'm going to recommend you actually follow a watered down version of Khirurg's advice -- stay away from controversial edits especially regarding demographic stuff. Getting yourself involved in that stuff typically does not lead to pleasant situations, and you're a valuable editor for your improvements to a wide array of articles outside this area, so it would be better for your both yourself and Wikipedia to stick to those areas. Thanks for your contributions, and happy editing. Cheers, --Calthinus (talk) 18:05, 2 December 2017 (UTC)

Okay, thanks for the recommendation!

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Proposed deletion of Pite (food)[edit]

Ambox warning yellow.svg

The article Pite (food) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence of notability. Not enough content to be a useful articles -less than a dicoronary definition.

PamD 06:08, 23 December 2017 (UTC)

Friendly Warning[edit]

We have been working with various contributors like Alexikoua and Resnjari in order to create a stable constructive article for Arvanites and you come and constantly vandalising it. Please stop it otherwise you will be reported for disruption. We do not care for your personal opinion. Best Othon I (talk) 15:31, 23 December 2017 (UTC)

December 2017[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Khirurg. I noticed that you made a change to an article, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Khirurg (talk) 04:35, 24 December 2017 (UTC)

January 2018[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to Berat Castle, without good reason. They need to have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Dr. K. 18:07, 29 January 2018 (UTC)

February 2018[edit]

You know, it's really not very nice what you did here [4]. You removed that city was founded by ancient Greeks without so much as an edit summary, and concealed the removal within another edit. Were you hoping no one would notice? I've noticed this isn't the first time you do something like this, and I have started gathering diffs of this behavior. If it continues, I should tell you I will file a report about it. Khirurg (talk) 18:24, 4 February 2018 (UTC)

Iaof2017, you have done a good job with many articles but as i have said to you in talkpages in the past, your not ready for more complex edits. Unless you do the reading and research best avoid those types of edits. Also deleting sourced material is not something that should be done unless you have a source/s that has called into question a particular scholar or their work (and for this you would need to bring it up in the talkpage of an article). Otherwise you could get sanctioned. Best avoid that. Best.Resnjari (talk) 19:15, 4 February 2018 (UTC)

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Buthrotum, you may be blocked from editing. Alexikoua (talk) 15:44, 14 February 2018 (UTC)

    • you have no reason to undo an editing without any reason, it seems to me as if you would like to hide the existence of the Illyrians ... like Butrint, there are some sources that testify the population of Illyrians in that area, so calm down please ... I just want to refresh some articles and dont hide the truth or write anything wrong, like there are sources given .. so i dont do any mistake
Large scale manipulation of sourced content is a very serious accusation, thus you give me no choice: either you revert your self or I'm in the sad position to fill a report against your long term disruption in various articles.Alexikoua (talk) 15:56, 14 February 2018 (UTC)
First of all, i dont manipulate any sourced content and although i read articles in German language and there are some other informations than that in the English one, with more sources and some informations that there are not given in the English ones, but okay i will not do any edit on those articles that need more informations and more sources, good luck

Yes sure im interested, me siguri qe po :D

Citations Needed Gulf of Drin[edit]

Hi! I see as part of new page patrol that you made an article out of a redirect at Gulf of Drin. I also noticed that the redirect target doesn't have any mention of the Gulf of Drin. I have restored the redirect as an article with-out citations is a problem. I would encourage you to think about including information about the Gulf in the river article or if you think it should be a separate article making sure that when you create it you include citations from reliable sources. If you have questions or comments please ping me or leave a message on my talk page. Best, Barkeep49 (talk) 19:02, 14 June 2018 (UTC)

Hi there, I'm pleased to inform you that I've begun reviewing the article Geography of Albania you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. Time2wait.svg This process may take up to 7 days. Iaof2017, this is your last chance to respond to the GA review of this article at Talk:Geography of Albania/GA1. The reviewer has been waiting for a response since July 31, over five weeks now. Otherwise, the nomination will be failed. I hope you respond there right away. BlueMoonset (talk) 20:49, 7 September 2018 (UTC)

Hello, yes I am interested. I have already made some changes. --Lorik17 (talk) 11:57, 9 September 2018 (UTC)

Then please be sure to post right away at the review that you are doing so, Iaof2017, if you don't want it to close prematurely. I am not the reviewer, and it is up to you to let them know. Thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 16:43, 9 September 2018 (UTC)

September 2018[edit]

Information icon Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow, or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus, as you did to Đeravica Lake. This includes making page moves while a discussion remains underway. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Thank you. Ąnαșταη (ταlκ) 19:03, 21 September 2018 (UTC)

Mountains of Albania[edit]

I reverted your edits to Mountains of Albania, which you converted from a redirect to a stub. The subject seems to be covered in greater detail at Geography of Albania and List of mountains in Albania (as well as the pages for specific mountain ranges), so I don't really see the need to create an article at this page as well. However, I'd be open to switching the redirect target, or converting the page to a disambiguation. signed, Rosguill talk 19:01, 23 September 2018 (UTC)

Got it, thanks!--Lorik17 (talk) 23:37, 25 September 2018 (UTC)
