UAA comment

Re this diff, how on earth is "Bkpub", a username promoting books from "Berrett-Koehler Publishers" not violation of WP:SPAMNAME? – ukexpat (talk) 15:45, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

Actually, notice how I recommended WP:COIN instead of a not-a-blatant case? Now, if said user was spamming like hell, it would warrant a block. Also, read the line "Accounts that add promotional material or demonstrate a conflict of interest can be reported to the conflict of interest noticeboard or to administrator intervention against vandalism, where further action may be taken". :/ Cheers, I'mperator 16:15, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Kateshortforbob

You have managed to link a guideline on why Wikipedia does not have a company's entry to a project space discussion on admin rights. Not very clever really. Please - read the words before linking to a cool sounding shortcut next time. Sorry to be rude, but honestly you undermine the candidate by making silly errors like that. Pedro, please see my comment under yours at the RFA. I don't think you're being terribly fair here. --Floquenbeam (talk) 21:59, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
Fair enough. Pedro :  Chat  22:06, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
Pedro, don't you think you're overreacting slightly? I mean, it's been there since Novemeber 2008...and I for one have seen others use it at RfAs. :/ Cheers, I'mperator 16:00, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

Re: In case you forgot....

I'm so sorry for not working on the articles! I've been kind of busy the last couple of weeks. I'll try to do at least one next week. Theleftorium 17:46, 12 July 2009 (UTC)

  • I just wanted to thank you for the DYK nomination for the Aza Gazgireeva article. Terribly tragic story, but I appreciate the nomination. Have a great day! Scanlan (talk) 13:09, 18 July 2009 (UTC)
  • My pleasure! And yes, I agree; what a "brutal" way to die...Cheers, I'mperator 21:33, 18 July 2009 (UTC)

Mr. Lisa Goes to Washington

Hey ImperatorExercitus, sorry for "taking over" the article (when I was only supposed to do the production section), but I found some excellent information on Newsbank and kind of got carried away. :P Anyway, can you come on IRC so I can give you access to Newsbank? It might come in handy for you in the future, especially when looking for really old information. :) Theleftorium 19:35, 19 July 2009 (UTC)

Hey, no worries! I was just about to go over to your talk page to compliment you! You've done more than 2x expanded the article :DD Unfortunately, mibbit doesn't work for me now, so I can't go on IRC :( Cheers, I'mperator 19:41, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
Alright, I'll send you an email. Theleftorium 19:45, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
Ok :) Cheers, I'mperator 20:05, 19 July 2009 (UTC)

DB-Nonsense

Hey, I noticed you removed my tag. I assumed nonsense after reading the seemingly content-less first line of the article which made very little sense to me, in any case speedy delete is the right approach for the article so it doesn't really matter to me what the tag says. Anyway, apologies if you feel I was wrong to categorise the article as nonsensical. AreaControl (talk) 00:08, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

No problem! Thanks for putting me right :) AreaControl (talk) 00:13, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
