Independent (Indie) and Community Media projects in Cincinnati[edit]

Hi, I noticed the contribution that you made to the article on Cincinnati, Ohio, under the section "Independent (Indie) and Community Media projects in Cincinnati." I'd just like to point out that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a place for advocacy. Although it may be relevant to discuss and list some notable independent media outlets like The Catholic Telegraph, The Spanish Journal, and WOXY, what you have written here is more like advertising, which wouldn't belong in an encyclopedia.

So I'm removing the passage until I or someone else finds time to repackage it. Perhaps you would consider setting up a separate webpage or a Wikicities wiki that discusses these projects in more detail, and link to it in the "External links" section. Please note that, although the passage that you wrote doesn't belong here, it would still be useful to write articles for many of these projects.

Welcome to Wikipedia, and I hope that you'll consider contributing more in the future. You can learn what kind of stuff Wikipedia includes at Wikipedia:What is an article.

Online Media[edit]

I agree with previous poster and I have started work on this. Please see the Cincinnati page's section Online Media. I've created that section, and I would love it if people would help out in this regard. This is a beginning at addressing the Independent Media section listed above. Thanks.
