a shot out of nowhere[edit]

Hi Sarah. Ive been looking at some of your content and thought you might like to join me in a new project called Lunarpedia. It is a wiki devoted entirely to the moon and the return to it.
Some articles are fact, some are theory, and some are slated to be moved to other space oriented wikis that are currently in development. A Marspedia has also been recently launched but is in it's early stages. Drop me a line at my Lunarpedia user page if you're interested (or you can just poke around a bit).

-- James Rogers

P.S. I noticed a graphic displaying the distribution of nanophase iron on the granules retrieved during the apollo missions. IIRC you stated that it was taken from your own work. I'm very interested in this iron and the possibilities of using magnetic fields to shield equipment, or to sheath equipment with a dust suit containing a matrix of wires woven into the surface in order to "slough off" lunar dust via a sort of (magnetic) wave effect. You can catch me at the ASI MOO chatroom (usually in the evenings CST) and sometimes on thursdays at NSS Space Chat. Me and the other guys would love to talk to you -- J Rogers 4/2/2007

Astrogeology vs. Planetary Geology[edit]

I'm a bit confused since I though that the astrogeology would include not only geology of planets, but also geology of non-planetary objects, if they reach a planet, that this science would study impact events (e.g. Barringer Crater). I've kicked off the Geology Project, but it would be great if you could join this project and help to sort out this matter. Thanks! Solarapex 23:20, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello IntrplnetSarah! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 962 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

WikiProjects Moon and Mars activity[edit]

Hello there! As part of an effort to determine how many active editors are present in the space-related WikiProjects, some changes have been made to the lists of members of WikiProject Moon (here) and Mars (here). If you still consider yourself to be an active editor either of these projects, it would be appreciated if you would please edit the list so that your name is not struck out - thus a clearer idea of the number of active editors can be determined. Many thanks in advance!

New Frontiers program#MoonRise[edit]

Are the South Pole-Aitken Basin Sample Return mission and MoonRise logically separate? They both have the same target--RadioFan (talk) 16:06, 27 May 2011 (UTC).[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for November 8[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Lunar Atmosphere and Dust Environment Explorer, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page MSL (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
