Per discussion below, and original blocking admin's de facto' retirement from Wikipedia years ago. — Daniel Case (talk) 14:44, 5 June 2012 (UTC)

For the record, as your block was imposed in Sptember 2006 it is in fact a little under 6 years. But I concede that this is still quite a long time. Nevertheless some of your edits were objectionable. If unblocked, what do you intend to write about?--Anthony Bradbury"talk" 20:17, 4 June 2012 (UTC)
Not any one thing, but the reason I was going to post today was that I wanted to post on the Shawarma page that sometimes Mint is also an ingredient and I was going to link to a reciped of Shawarma that included mint.
I will wait for further admin input; one more admin in favour of unblock and I (or he) will do so. --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 21:56, 4 June 2012 (UTC)
Overall, I'm typically fond of second chances ... although, I personally don't think adding "mint" to an article is a wise idea: mint is, in fact, an ingredient used in many many dishes, whether in the original recipe or not. So is black pepper. So is water. A piece of minutiae like that probably is not either a) needed, b) useful, nor c) a good example of your desired future edits (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 00:41, 5 June 2012 (UTC)
It is certainly a better edit than the ones that got him blocked back in the day, though. J0nnyg, as a formerly indefblocked user, you should know that your edits will be watched closely, by myself and others. I have no objection to unblocking, per se, if J0nnyg agrees to be careful with his edits, whatever they end up being. UltraExactZZ Said ~ Did 12:20, 5 June 2012 (UTC)
I will be extremely careful in my edits in the future. As for the Mint in the Shawarma. I was having a conversation with someone about what is in Shawarma and I told him that the one that I ordered had Mint in it. He told me that nowhere on the Wiki page for Shawarma was mint mentioned and therefore what I ate was not Shawarma. That is the reason I wanted to edit it to include that ingredient.
