Tables[edit]

Hi there. I noticed you'd added a couple of tables to the Chilean Army page. I took the liberty of tweaking them a little, and adding a column for US Army ranks to help people not familiar with the Chilean system compare with something a little more familiar (I'm not American myself, but most people tend to be familiar with the US system through pop culture and media if nothing else). Also, I thought you might find this page on creating tables in Wikipedia of some use. :) Also, did you have any sources for your information on the Chilean Army rank system? If so, it might be worth noting. - Jonathon A H (talk) 06:12, 7 March 2010 (UTC)

Imperial anthem of Iran[edit]

Hi there, may I ask what is your reason to change the translation in this poem? The translator took a toll keep the beauty and maintain the style of the poem. Unfortunately your edits are making such thing disappear. Majalinno 18:54, 29 June 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Majalinno (talkcontribs)

Gnome-face-worried.svg
Hi, JMRAMOS0109, you'll likely not be pleased about this but I have suppressed a number of edits to your userspace which reveal too much personally identifiable information about yourself. I've done this per policy and for your own protection and safety on-line as you are a self-declared minor. I'm really sorry about that and I know it's annoying, but it's for the best. Please don't re-add it. For some useful information on privacy and safety, take a look at Wikipedia:Guidance for younger editors. Thanks, and sorry for messing about with your pages - Alison 21:56, 16 July 2010 (UTC)

Colombian National Anthem[edit]

Thanks for working on National Anthem of Colombia. Maybe we could work together. Some of your changes don't seem to improve the translation, which could certainly be improved. --Yopienso (talk) 17:45, 6 November 2010 (UTC)

Your Contributions Moved to Talk Page[edit]

Hello, I noticed that you recently contributed to the wiki article The Ohio State University Marching Band. Please be advised that I removed your contribution because you did not cite any sources in your contribution. This is an article that already does not meet Wikipedia standards. Additionally, I noticed that you did not provide an edit summary of you contribution. Please refer to Help: Edit Summary and aim to provide summaries of all your contributions. I've moved your contribution to articles Talk: The Ohio State University Marching Band. Please refer to WP:Cite on how to properly cite sources on Wikipedia. Template:Ranks and Insignia of NATO Armies/OF/Spain[edit]

Your recent changes at Template:Ranks and Insignia of NATO Armies/OF/Spain apparently screwed up the format of Ranks and insignia of NATO armies officers, as flagged up at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Military history, so I've reverted the format changes which you made. - David Biddulph (talk) 13:43, 10 January 2011 (UTC)

Unblocking[edit]

{{unblock|your reason here}}

  • You do not appear to be blocked directly. Please follow these directions if you cannot edit:
  • Clearing an autoblock

Due to the nature of the block applied we need additional information before we can decide whether to unblock you. It is very likely that you are not personally blocked. If you are prevented from editing, it may be because you are autoblocked or blocked because of your IP address. Without further details there is nothing further we can do to review or lift your block. Please follow these instructions:

  1. If you have a Wikipedia account, please ensure that you are logged in.
Your account name will be visible in the top right of this page if you are.
If it isn't, try bypassing your web browser's cache.
  2. Try to edit the Sandbox.
  3. If you are still blocked, copy the {{unblock-auto|...}} code generated for you under the "IP blocked?" section. This is usually hidden within the "What do I do now?" section. If so, just click the "[show]" link to the right hand side to show this text.
  4. Paste the code at the bottom of your user talk page and click save.

If you are not blocked from editing the sandbox then the autoblock on your IP address has already expired and you can resume editing. Beeblebrox (talk) 01:18, 22 January 2011 (UTC)

The IP address that you are currently using has been blocked because it is believed to be an open or anonymizing proxy. To prevent abuse, these proxies may be blocked from editing Wikipedia.

|- | style="border-top: 1px solid #AAA; padding-top: 0.5em;" | If you are using an open proxy you will need to turn it off to edit Wikipedia.

If you believe you are not running an open proxy, the most likely cause is that another customer using your IP address who was previously assigned this IP address was running an open proxy. You may appeal this block by adding the following text on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Caught by an open proxy block but this host or IP is not an open proxy. Place any further information here. ~~~~}}. If you are using a Wikipedia account and wish to keep your IP address private you can email the functionaries team.

More rarely, your network equipment or that of your service provider may be misconfigured or compromised by malicious software (such as a virus). For more information, see the WikiProject on Open Proxies.

Administrators: The IP block exemption user right should only be applied to allow users to edit using an open or anonymizing proxies in exceptional circumstances, and they should usually be directed to the functionaries team via email. If you intend to give the IPBE user right, a CheckUser needs to take a look at the account. This can be requested most easily at SPI Quick Checkuser Requests. Unblocking an IP or IP range with this template is highly discouraged without at least contacting the blocking administrator.

IP block exempt[edit]

I have granted your account an exemption from IP blocking. This will allow you to edit through full blocks affecting your IP address when you are logged in.

Please read the page Wikipedia:IP block exemption carefully, especially the section on IP block exemption conditions.

Note in particular that you are not permitted to use this newly-granted right to edit Wikipedia via anonymous proxies, or disruptively. If you do, or there is a serious concern of abuse, then the right may be removed by any administrator.

Appropriate usage and compliance with the policy may be checked periodically, due to the nature of block exemption, and block exemption will be removed when no longer needed (for example, when the block it is related to expires).

I hope this will enhance your editing, and allow you to edit successfully and without disruption. Daniel Case (talk) 19:07, 22 January 2011 (UTC)

Your edit on The Price Is Right (Philippine game show)[edit]

You don't have to emphasize that the ABS-CBN version has gone live since last Monday. The lead sentence should only introduce the show and the hosts of the two versions. Just leave the intro as is and don't add the info about the "live" shows.- 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 10:10, 9 March 2011 (UTC)

Polish People's Army order of battle[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to the articles on Poland's armed forces. One item -- in Polish People's Army order of battle, I commented out sections that I have been unable to source. I see you have placed the text back into open view in the article. Can you provide a source for this structure? Cheers, W. B. Wilson (talk) 05:58, 2 November 2011 (UTC)

For the third time, mate WE NEED SOURCES HERE. Please provide the source - whatever webpage you got it from - before you make the text of other sections visible again. Buckshot06 (talk) 13:02, 2 November 2011 (UTC)

Thanks. I'm ready to cite them, they are from the Polish article on the Polish People's Army, and I did the translations here. JMRAMOS0109, 21:21, 2 November 2011 (PST)

Are you aware of WP:CIRCULAR? We cannot use Wikipedia as a source. I'm going to revert the additions a third time. Once you have identified the Polish sources that the pl:PPA article used, cite them. Then you can reintroduce the content. Buckshot06 (talk) 13:44, 2 November 2011 (UTC)

Military ranks of Estonia[edit]

You have changed the name of some of the Estonian Air Force NCO and Soldiers' ranks in English: Command Chief Master Sergeant, Senior Master Sergeant, Technical Sergeant, Airman. What is your source for such names? I had previously given the list a major overhaul using the names as presented on Estonian Defence Forces official webpage to which I had also provided the link for in the changes comments (http://www.mil.ee/index_eng.php?s=ovolakud). If no other sources are to be found I cannot but consider these names the closest there are to being the official ones, so if you insist on using other names it would be nice to know your reasoning.

I will be checking back here for your reply. If there is none, please be advised, I am going to undo your changes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.191.181.41 (talk) 06:42, 28 March 2012 (UTC)

Information icon Hello, I'm N2e. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Bolivarian Navy of Venezuela, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Looks like you may have a good source for updating this article. Cool. Just add back any information with a proper reliable source citation and the changes will be good to stay in the encyclopedia. Would you mind casting your eye over some edits?[edit]

JMRAMOS0109, I know you've been there before, but would you mind casting your eye over the "Ranks and rank insignia of the Red Army ..." series of articles. I'm getting bored of fixing the typos, the errant formatting and the garbled English, but most of all I contend that the articles should be in English (eg senior lieutenant, not starshii leytenant, or whatever random transliteration HHubi's using today). But I may be getting it wrong, and I'd appreciate a second opinion. Thanks. Shem (talk) 13:50, 17 May 2015 (UTC)

@JMRAMOS0109: Hi. I am afraid that I have been reviewing some of your edits and they appear to be either inaccurate or unsourced and have been reverted. If you are going to significantly alter an article by adding considerable text, then you need to provide a source. Yours, Quis separabit? 02:52, 8 July 2015 (UTC)

Quis separabit? 03:36, 8 July 2015 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open![edit]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. Colours and guidons[edit]

Hello,

I undid your edit which seemed a little odd. No offense was meant. I really would like to know what you meant by saying that US Navy ships may use anchors as guidons. We noticed though that when you edited Spanish Navy, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Capitán and Coronel (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
