NPOV

[edit]

Please do not remove the NPOV tag on the Adam Smith Foundation page. Use the talk page to address any issues, and allow us to reach a consensus. Simply removing tags is considered vandalism. --Rjm656s 22:03, 10 September 2007 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. It appears you have not followed this policy at Adam Smith Foundation. Please always observe our core policies. Thank you. Into The Fray T/C 22:16, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Adam Smith Foundation. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Wikipedia works by building consensus. I note that your contributions are limited to Adam Smith Foundation and related pages. Perhaps you should take a break from this subject and work on some other pages to gain some experience in NPOV style and wiki etiquette Dlabtot 02:23, 12 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Jabajabajaba43, I posted a warning regarding the WP:3RR to your talk page and I'll mention it here. We're glad to have your contributions, but you must remember that Wikipedia is about consensus. At this point, it seems fairly settled consensus that your article, as written, was designed for the promotion of a group that you may have an association to. I suggest further reading at: Wikipedia is not a soapbox, neutral point of view and conflict of interest. I am going to post this message to your user talk page as well. Continuing to remove NPOV dispute tags from an article is not acceptable behavior on Wikipedia. If you continue to engage in it, you will be blocked from editing. Rjm656s 15:43, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
