How long ago did you live there? Kurt Weber 18:24, 15 February 2006 (UTC) From across the ditch in Princeton

I don't know why he doesn't have this on his watch list, and I'll have him add it, but he left town approx 4 years ago. Now he's stuck in Indianapolis Mrzaius 14:04, 8 April 2006 (UTC)

Well, duh, Mrzaius. I commented on his discussion page instead of commenting here. I guess I should have done it the other way around. How did you find me, btw? I told you to never call me at this number!!! Jablair 19:10, 8 April 2006 (UTC)

Spoken Word[edit] Check it out, beotches. I'm not sure I have time yet, but I'm toying with the notion of tackling some of the above.

Note: If you decide to do it, too, it'd probably be good to put the date and time of the copy you're reading from at the beginning of the reading. If you want a mic, hit me up and I'll get you one, but they're cheap at Wally World. MrZaiustalk

You antipapist![edit]

Someone deleted the POEE Pope Userbox. If you can find me another one, I will put it back on my page, I promise. Jablair51 01:57, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
I'm not going to recreate it. If you wouldn't mind, please drop a quick note in Template Talk:User_pope in support of its recreation. Thanks. MrZaiustalk 14:00, 31 July 2006 (UTC) (ed MrZaiustalk 16:38, 10 September 2006 (UTC))

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Speedway flag.gif[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Speedway flag.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 05:19, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

Hi there. Please forgive this slightly odd request; I was seeking an active Wikipedian in the Indianapolis area; reason being, the spotlight team are working on the article Marco Polo sheep, and we're struggling for pics. I wondered if there might be someone who could pop down to the zoo with a camera. Even better would be a sound clip of a 'baa'. Let me know if you can help; cheers,  Chzz  ►  17:38, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of George Hrab[edit]

Ambox warning pn.svg

A tag has been placed on George Hrab requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. MS (Talk|Contributions) 06:46, 23 July 2009 (UTC)

Hey, I recreated the George Hrab article with a ton of references and such. Not sure what your version looked like, I never saw it before it was deleted. I think this one will stick, as I got a Did You Know? approved for it this morning (hasn't run yet). Feel free to chip in on it if you see stuff I missed. --Krelnik (talk) 17:11, 9 September 2010 (UTC)

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference[edit]

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer have them marked as minor by default.

For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you are familiar with the contents of WP:MINOR, and believe that it is still beneficial to the encyclopedia to have all your edits marked as such by default, then this discussion will give you the details you need to continue with this functionality indefinitely. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.

Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 19:32, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
