Information icon Hello, I'm Largoplazo. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Tristan da Cunha have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse. Thanks. Largoplazo (talk) 17:14, 4 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! :)

I saw your edit on Pug. It unfortunately couldn't be accepted, because that sort of information is more relevant further down in the article. Perhaps you could put it in Pug#Health problems? Also, information of that type should have a source cited, so readers know that scientists really do say these things and Wikipedia isn't just making it up. Citing sources can be hard, but it's easy once you get the hang of it. These guides, Wikipedia:Citing sources and Help:Referencing for beginners, can help you out. If you really can't figure it out, you can do something called a "bare URL", where you simply copy and paste a link to something between two "< ref >< /ref >" tags (without spaces) -- but using a citation template is always better.

Thank you for your enthusiaism in editing! I hope you have a long and happy Wikipedia career. Vaticidalprophet (talk) 13:53, 5 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This is a general pattern in your edits. Anyone can edit Wikipedia, but that doesn't mean that everything should be added everywhere. Especially not in the lead, which should be a short summary of the topic. Please try to keep the quality of edits higher, otherwise they will keep getting reverted. See also our Manual of Style. --mfb (talk) 00:22, 6 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
