Article space vs. user space[edit]

Hello! James Leaver is not the appropriate spot to post information about yourself, because that's the encyclopedic part of the Wikipedia website. User:Jamesleaver, however, is all yours to use more or less as you wish. Please see Wikipedia:Introduction and Wikipedia:User page for more information. A tag has been placed on James Leaver, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be a biographical account about a person, group of people, or band, but it does not indicate how or why he/she/they is/are notable. If you can indicate why James Leaver is really notable, I advise you to edit the article promptly, and also put a note on Talk:James Leaver. Any admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles. You might also want to read our general biography criteria. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that admins should wait a while for you to assert his/her/their notability, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and then immediately add such an assertion. It is also a very good idea to add citations from reliable sources to ensure that your article will be verifiable. Regards, Accurizer 11:09, 13 June 2006 (UTC)

Removal of speedy deletion tags[edit]

Information.svg

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles that you have created yourself, as you did with Stonefucked. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. Heliomance 09:46, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policy for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. · AO Talk 10:49, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

Second offense ...[edit]

Information.svg

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you.

Do not remove the {{db-web}} tag again from the Stonefucked article. And do not continue to add links to this blog's site in various articles. Keesiewonder talk 10:57, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Little Red Button Records[edit]

Ambox warning yellow.svg

The article Little Red Button Records has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The article does not appear to be notable under the criteria of WP:COMPANY

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
