Hello

[edit]

Did you know that if you go to Wikipedia:Refill here, it can automatically fix bare urls. I just thought you should know. Sahaib3005 (talk) 19:37, 8 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Doesn't seem to work for me... --Jannizzero1 (talk) 21:18, 8 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Operation Husky order of battle, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Carlo Rossi. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 05:58, 17 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Autopatrolled granted

[edit]

Hi Jannizzero1, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the "autopatrolled" permission to your account, as you have created numerous, valid articles. This feature will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to reduce the workload on new page patrollers. For more information on the autopatrolled right, see Wikipedia:Autopatrolled. However, you should consider adding relevant wikiproject talk-page templates, stub-tags and categories to new articles that you create if you aren't already in the habit of doing so, since your articles will no longer be systematically checked by other editors (User:Evad37/rater and User:SD0001/StubSorter.js are useful scripts which can help). Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! Seddon talk 23:46, 14 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. --Jannizzero1 (talk) 20:49, 15 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2021 Elections voter message

[edit]
Hello! Voting in the 2021 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 6 December 2021. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2021 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:05, 23 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Warning

[edit]
Stop icon

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. --Kansas Bear (talk) 22:30, 23 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Article creations by globally locked account

[edit]

The following 200-odd articles (apparently mostly about Italian military men) were created by Jannizzero1:

I'll link this discussion from WT:MIL so they can decide what, if anything to do about them. Thanks, Mathglot (talk) 21:04, 25 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Also, these biographies of politicians, journalists, authors, etc. from various countries by one of their socks:

And these, by another sock; mostly Italian military men:

And these two articles by blocked sock RegiaMarina (talk · contribs): Italian destroyer Nembo (1927), Italian destroyer Alvise da Mosto. Mathglot (talk) 21:29, 25 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

These two seem fine to me. Both Milhist C-class and no obvious red flags. Peacemaker67 (click to talk to me) 06:31, 26 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked for sockpuppetry

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Jannizzero1. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  -- RoySmith (talk) 17:30, 1 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
