If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Appley Municipal Election 2010, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. | Uncle Milty | talk | 00:31, 21 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please review the guidelines before attempting to create any articles[edit]

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Survivor: ND (Ecole Secondaire Notre Dame High School), to Wikipedia, as doing so is not in accordance with our policies. For more information about creating articles, you may want to read Wikipedia:Your first article; you might also consider using the Article Wizard. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you.

Wikipedia is not for things made up one day. It appears you're trying to create an article about something you and your schoolmates are involved in either in a class or after it. Please review the guidelines for your first article before attempting to create this article, and make sure you can back up the new article with reliable sources in the first draft of the article. If this isn't clear, please ask for help here on your talk page; I'm watching it. —C.Fred (talk) 22:14, 21 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia, as you did at Survivor: ND (Ecole Secondaire Notre Dame High School, you may be blocked from editing. If you need guidance on how to create appropriate pages, try using the Article Wizard. —C.Fred (talk) 22:31, 21 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Survivor: Notre Dame (Ecole Secondaire Notre Dame High School) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Wikipedia is not for things made up one day

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Notice[edit]

Let me make this clear.

Wikipedia is not here to be a free webhost for your school games.

The pages have been deleted. If you put them up again, you will be blocked from further editing. DS (talk) 17:25, 29 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. Please explain how your user page is not a violation of the Wikipedia policy Wikipedia is not a webspace provider. —C.Fred (talk) 02:48, 23 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Answers[edit]

You asked: "Who says you have the right to tell me what I can and can not put on my page?"

Answer: I'm a Wikipedia administrator. This means that I "have the right to tell you what you can and can not put on your page on Wikipedia".

You also asked: "If I would like to make that page again, how can I make it so only I can see it and it doesn't go everywhere? Please help!"

Answer: as long as you put your page on Wikipedia, you cannot stop other people from being able to see it. The solution is to download a copy of MediaWiki, the free software that Wikipedia uses. You can run it on your own machine and store your pages there. DS (talk) 04:02, 23 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Jcormier95 says: Ok. Thank you.

Okay, that's enough. Three tries at this -- one of which came after I explained to you about getting yourself a free copy of MediaWiki -- plus the Appley Election hoax, means you are no longer welcome on Wikipedia. Goodbye. DS (talk) 11:51, 24 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I would like to be able to edit pages again. I think I would be a able to edit properly.

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. TNXMan 16:29, 3 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

  • Can you give specific examples of some proper edits you would make after you're unblocked? —C.Fred (talk) 03:19, 3 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I believe that I should be unblocked, because I would love to be editing pages again and doing it properly. I enjoy updating standing for hockey tournaments and reality TV shows. Sure, I made some stupid pages, which was the reason why I was blocked, mbut now I know that it is wrong to do that and I promise to not do that again. I hope you can unblock me.

Decline reason:

Given that you have not responded in a while, I have to assume that you are no longer interested. --MuZemike 01:14, 12 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I will be willing to unblock if you say that you will stop creating anything about whatever your event is at your high school, knowing that you may be reblocked if you do it again. Deal? --MuZemike 03:35, 6 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to delete this account, because apparently I`m not a useful contributer and nobody is willing to unblock me anytime soon. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jcormier95 (talkcontribs) 21:15, 5 June 2012

  • I have rearranged things here, to make it a bit clearer what has happened. MuZemike made his offer on 6 Jan, and on 12 Jan declined the unblock request as you had not responded. You did not respond until 20 May, over four months later; and as you did not make that an unblock request, or even sign it with ~~~~, nobody was aware of it, so you got no response.
But you can still be unblocked. Read WP:Your first article and WP:Notability and WP:NOTWEBHOST. Do you now understand why your earlier contributions were not accepted? What sort of edits would you make, if unblocked? JohnCD (talk) 22:12, 5 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
