This submission's references do not adequately show the subject's notability. Please properly word the lede sentence. All claims of notability should be sourced, such as "Valery was the first and only mountaineer to have successfully summited four of the USSR’s five 7000 meter peaks in winter, including peak Pobeda (7439m) in February of 1990, which has yet to see another winter ascent to date." The subject almost certainly is notable, but needs independent reliable sources not related to him that have written about him.
