{{unblock-un}jesus.amen.emerald.christ} Jesus Clarification on Jesus for the record 18:11, 8 August 2007 (UTC)

Whilst it may be politically incorrect to not accept many world-views on Jesus Christ, I was wondering if anyone would consider accepting input from the source himself?

Assertion 1) What one believes matters. That one can create or destroy based on one's beliefs. The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy, but Jesus Christ comes that we may have life, and life more abundant. Assertion 2) Jesus Christ splits time into Before Christ and After (Anno Domini). God has the control of time and is Creator of the Universe, Lord of Eternity and Lord of Space and Time. When the modern secular world discarded Jesus Christ as the undation, cornerstone and capstone, communities everywhere collapsed and unbelievers lost control of time. The primary purpose and business of the Lord Jesus Christ is the Salvation of the World, salvage operations to make communities livable again, achieved through His crucifixion and resurrection when He last walked the earth. Assertion 3) The Holy Bible is both a historical account and the authoritative Word of God. All holy scripture is God-breathed. It is set apart above all books for God's purposes. Assertion 4) Above all the Names of God, Jesus is the Highest Name, the Name that is above all Names. There is no other name but the Name of Jesus given to man/humanity that we may be saved.

I have unblocked the user name as requested by User:Rspeer. However I am adding the {{usernameconcern}} template. I blocked the username because it seems to promote one faith over another. WP:UN. Now, I may certainly have been wrong. The fact that I was questioned means I am happy to back up and do otherwise. Let me ask you to reconsider the name because it does promote a given faith using the name of a religious figure. It could also prove disruptive to some people.

Now, having said that, I agree with much of what you say above. JodyB yak, yak, yak 20:39, 8 August 2007 (UTC)

My concern about your username[edit]

Hello, Jesus.amen.emerald.christ, and welcome to Wikipedia!

I hope not to seem unfriendly or make you feel unwelcome, but I noticed your username, and am concerned that it might not meet Wikipedia's username policy. After you look over that policy, could we discuss that concern here?

Your username uses the name of a religious figure and seems to suggest one faith above another and it could be disruptive to some editors.

I'd appreciate learning your own views, for instance your reasons for wanting this particular name, and what alternative username you might accept that avoids raising this concern.

You have several options freely available to you:

Let me reassure you that my writing here means I don't think your username is grossly, blatantly, or obviously inappropriate; such names get reported straight to Wikipedia:Usernames for administrator attention or blocked on sight. This is more a case where opinions might differ, and it would be good to reach some consensus — either here or at Wikipedia:Requests for comment/User names. So I look forward to a friendly discussion, and to enjoying your continued participation on Wikipedia. Thank you. JodyB yak, yak, yak 20:43, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
