John -- in the nutrition panel for Agaricus, it shows the total fat content is 0.34% of the mushroom, indicating CLA and its isomers would be smaller fractions. It strikes me as illogical that a) such small amounts could be implied with any effects in normal consumption (one doesn't eat 100 g of mushrooms daily) and b) that the sequence of effects you implied could logically occur. Scientific experiments, published under peer-review, would be needed to demonstrate this. The best way to support a comment would be with citable research, such as this[1] which would allow a comment about how preliminary research on mice indicates potential for an anti-cancer effect of Agaricus extract containing CLA. I'm leaving on a week-long trip in an hour so will be unable to respond immediately, just to let you know. Kind regards -- Zefr (talk) 14:40, 10 July 2013 (UTC)
