Advice[edit]

Dear Jonathan,

While the paltan is obviously important to you, I think you have erred in giving too much credible information about officers, equipment etc. Be careful lest you violate OSA.

A well-wisher

How to sign a message[edit]

Hi Benji,

When you post a message to a talk page. You type ~~~~ after your message. It leaves behind your name, talk page and date/time. See what happens when I sign that way at the end of this message. Try it in a sandbox. Regards, AshLin (talk) 04:47, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please change user name in your yellow 'type a new message box'[edit]

Since you cpy-pasted the wiki-code without changing the username in it, clicking it launches a new message on my page, not yours. :-) AshLin (talk) 04:51, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Jonathanvarunbenjami, one of your uploaded images was transfered to Commons and filed for deletion. Your comment would be appreciated. Thanks, AFBorchert (talk) 07:26, 8 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File talk:KsaraWineTasters.jpg, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Christ Church, Mhow[edit]

Thank you for this article. To improve it, a couple of points: 1) some of the content seems to refer to a different (Presbyterian) church - please check; 2) the Architecture section is incomplete - the first sentence actually finishes halfway through; 3) please add some more sources, as there are very few at the moment: you may well have access to hardcopy sources, for example, that don't appear on the internet, and these would be very helpful. The photos of the historic plaques are very valuable - please would you consider reducing the number of images in the article gallery to the most significant ones and linking to WP:Commons for the remainder? see WP:GALLERY. Thanks and best wishes, Ingratis (talk) 12:25, 18 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Thank you so very much for your inputs. I am in the process of typing the hardcopy sources - I should have them inserted in a day or two. Yes, the content is indeed from a different Presbyterian Church - I will amend that and correct it. As regards the gallery, I really want all the images to stay, since each of them is extremely valuable, in my opinion - as they all carry multiple names of people who died here - many names which have been lost to history. I intend to insert a table of the same as well. Jonathanvarunbenjamin (talk) 12:31, 18 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
It's a very interesting article on a notable church and I wish you well with it. I also see the notability of the plaques and hope there will be no problems. When time allows I will make a dedicated category on Commons for them so that there can be a link to that from the article as well. Ingratis (talk) 12:41, 18 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the encouragement. I hope to be able to expand the reach of this information, so it is available to researchers and family members of the servicemen represented therein. Thanks! Jonathanvarunbenjamin (talk) 12:47, 18 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Apurba Kumar Bardalai moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Apurba Kumar Bardalai, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) In addition, there appears to be a WP:UPE or WP:COI conflict. Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, and have addressed the UPE/COI issue, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. As per WP policy, please do not move into mainspace yourself. Onel5969 TT me 16:30, 14 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, can you help me with some guidance on how I can get more 'citiations from reliable, independent sources'? And I don't see any COI issue in this article as I am not being paid by the subject. He happens to be an officer retired from the Army. I can verify all the information in the article to be true. Unfortunately, there aren't too many people who are editors on WP who would be able to independently verify that Information. It is a technicality that there aren't enough editors who know the subject. Can you please offer some guidance? Thanks in advance. Jonathanvarunbenjamin (talk) 16:21, 15 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
